(WARNING: if you are a fan of Taylor Swift you will probably be offended by this chapter. It's a person's opinion, okay? Yes, I think my characters are people. Problem?)

*George Returns!*

The bands were informed that there would be another battle comming up. With a rush of nerves coursing through their veins, the girls tried to decide what they were going to do. Each band was to preform a full length song of their own choice and the girls had no clue what they would preform.

After arriving in their house, the five tennage females started bickering about what genre, artist, and song to use in the battle against Someday. Teaming up against the other girls, Katrina and Thorne were all for the heavier, less favourable music. While this was common, it was surprising that Bex and Thistle were for Taylor Swift. All the while Hayden sat back with a bowl of popcorn and watched her friends being foolish.

"But why can't we do Taylor Swift?" whined Thistle looking like a kicked puppy.

"We can't do Taylor Swift because her work has gotten so popular that it's losing it's quality. It is becoming more and more like pointless pop bullshit. Plus, she's straight." Katrina chuckled at her own terrible joke.

Several hours passed with no changes and by that point, Hayden had enough. Her patience was shot. The small blonde stormed into the room, disturbing and disrupting the rest of the band mid-argument.

"I'm only gonna say this once; so shut up, sit down and pay attention. We will not sing Taylor Swift and we will not sing metal, punk, or anything else hardcore like that. I usually roll with what you girls want to preform but you're being ridiculous, and I'm sick of listening to you fighting over something as unimportant as a freaking song. So I will be selecting the song and you will suck it up and like it, whether you want to or not. We are all adults here, so start acting like it for goodness sake!" Hayden lectured in an authoritative tone, challenging the other girls to argue with her.

The four girls stared at their soft-spoken friend in shock. Hayden had never raised her voice like that, ever. No sound was made by the four dumbstruck teens as they looked at their adorkable friend. Thorne and Bex raised their hands in surrender and backed away from Hayden. The glasses-wearing blonde smiled to herself, knowing that she had total control over something for the first time ever.

Hayden told the other girls that she would return within the hour to inform them of the song Nonsense would be performing at the next round of Rising Star. She walked into her room and collapsed on the chair. She spun lazily around on the swivel chair and considered what she wanted to preform. Then it struck her like a bolt of lightning. Hayden knew exactly what their performance would be.
