Testing our Love

Part 1

Lizzie made her way into her bedroom to get Hope who was normally awake by now, she thought Hope must have just overslept but it was still unusual.

"Hope, it's almost 1 pm baby. You have to get up." Lizzie said shaking her a bit and when Hope didn't move her concern grew slightly.

"Hope.....Hope." Lizzie said a little louder this time shaking her harder but Hope still laid there unconscious. 

Lizzie ran and grabbed her phone dialling a number she never thought she'd need to use.

"Hello, Dr. Amelia Fell." A voice said as Lizzie let out a sigh of relief. Alaric told Josie and Lizzie that if one of them ever needed medical attention but didn't want to expose their powers to call this number, he told them it was his ex girlfriend's daughter so she knew about the supernatural things in mystic falls. 

"Hi, My name's Lizzie. Lizzie Saltzman. My dad told me to call this number if I ever needed a Doctor." Lizzie said as she looked down at her newly wedded wife of 2 week's unconscious body.

"Okay, you're Alaric's daughter, what do you need?" She asked when Lizzie let out another long sigh of relief.

"Oh my God, Lizzie we got here as fast as we could!" Josie said running in with Penelope walking slowly behind her holding Greyson in her arms as slept. Greyson was 3 now and so good at speaking for his age, he was also the size of a 4 year old which was odd because Penelope is lacking in that department.

"It's okay, Amelia's about to come back with the test results." Lizzie said and right on cue Amelia walked over holding piles of test results.

"So, is it anything you can treat?" Lizzie asked when Amelia's face stayed blank, she was certainly good at this whole poker face thing. 

"I ran every test I could think of and she's in perfect health. I'm sorry guys but whatever is wrong with her isn't medical. I have a friend who specialises in these types of things but be warned that he has very steep prices which aren't always money and this should be a last resort." Amelia said as she ripped the corner off one of the pieces of paper and wrote a number down on it.

"I'll get her discharge papers and a wheelchair so you can take her home." She said in a soft voice before walking away.

"What do you think we should do?" Josie asked putting a hand on Lizzie's shoulder while Penelope sat behind them and tried to keep Greyson asleep, one thing about Greyson was that he hated hospitals and whenever he was in one he would burst into tears.

"I don't know, I was hoping it was medical because other then that i'm at a loss." She said looking down at the number before pulling her phone out and dialling it.

"Hello?" A male voice said through the phone once it was answered.

"Hi, I need your help. My wife she...she won't wake up. She's a tribrid and there's nothing medically wrong with her so i got sent your way." Lizzie blurted out quickly.

"Oh....Hope Mikaelson's wife....You're Elizabeth Saltzman. Of course I'll help. Meet me at your house in 20 minutes." He said before hanging up.

"That was weird." She said to herself before taking Hope out of the hospital and making her way home.

Josie and Penelope asked if she wanted them to come but she just told them to take Greyson Home and let him rest.

"So Mr Parker. What will the price be for this alleged cure?" Lizzie asked looking at the small bottle in his hands.

"You know, I was always a fan of games. I'm thinking I should put Josie's Love for Penelope to the test. Is that fun enough?" He asked thinking for a second.

"H-How do you know about Josie and Penelope?" Lizzie asked as he looked at her.

"You don't think I wouldn't keep tabs on my nieces now. Jo always told me that if she ever had kids to stay the hell away. So I did, until you called obviously." He said giggling slightly.

"What are you talking about, My Mom doesn't have any siblings?" Lizzie asked when the man sighed.

"Oh Lizzie, Your Mom had about 50 siblings...until I killed them all and then Killed her while she was pregnant with you, it was on her wedding day to...I think she was marrying you dad." He said nonchalantly as Lizzie put the pieces together and backed away slowly.

"Okay, you know what. Enough stalling. Time for the price." He said before picking up the picture of Penelope and Josie on Lizzie's bedside table and closing his eyes.

"Phesmantos Tergum in tempus. Senguinim aetatis Teruma." He mumbled when the room started to shake. Lizzie looked down as the Photo in his hands started to disappear along with all the ones containing Greyson or Josie and Penelope together.

"Ah, there we go. Now we wait." He said sitting down on the bed.

"What did you just do?" Lizzie asked when he looked at her like it was obvious.

" I thought it was obvious by the pictures disa-no?......okay well I just sent them to an alternate universe about 8 years ago. The spell I did it makes sure they won't return until they fall in love again and plot twist. I made sure the bind the cure with Penelope so...if her and her blood don't return then you don't have the cure."  He said smiling as Lizzie thought for a second.

"If you sent them back 8 years then it should be fine because they fell in love at about 15 and if they're 18 they should already be in love." Lizzie said when Kai laughed again.

"Nope, i said alternate universe. In this universe i changed one little thing. When they first met they automatically had a connection but this time they automatically hated each other so will their Love conquer the years of pure hatred or will Hope be asleep forever?" He asked dramatically before standing up.

"Wait, in this alternate universe are me and Hope still together?" Lizzie asked when Kai pondered it for a second.

"I mean, i think so yeah. Everything's the same besides Penelope and Josie's feelings and if that effects yours and Hope's relationship you won't be together in that world but that doesn't matter because it's not real. The only real humans in that world are Josie and Penelope." He said before turning around towards the door,  but then he turned again.

"Wait I almost forgot. I can't leave you waiting with no record of what's happening in there. Those three pictures." He said pointing to three empty picture frames. "When Josie returns to hers that means she's in love when Penelope returns to hers then she is too and you get it. When the family one of them with Greyson returns is when they've acted on that love and they will return." He said before clapping his hands excitedly and turning again.

"Well, i better be off then.  Good Luck!" He yelled before walking out the house and not taking a second loo back.

"What did I do?" Lizzie asked herself plopping on the bed placing her head in her hands.
