Testing our Love

Part 8

"Okay so to go over the plan again.....you two sit opposite each other holding hands and chanting the incantation. Once you're in Josie's head you'll relive the memory of  first meeting and you memories should return." Lizzie sad as they nodded and joined hands. 

"faciunt sengunim realem mundi. faciunt sengunim realem mundi. faciunt sengunim realem mundi." After a few minutes Josie and Penelope fell limp and Penelope opened her eyes.

"Welcome to  the Salvatore school Penelope. I'm Hope and this is Lizzie and Josie" A short girl said smiling at her. Penelope's initial reaction would've been to snap or ignore her but she didn't want the death of her loved ones to ruin her chance to start over. To meet new people and have a new life. 

"Hi. Nice to meet you all." She answered as Lizzie and Josie walked forward with bright smiles.

"We're gonna show you around." Josie said with a welcoming look which made Penelope feel safe.

Penelope opened her eyes again and saw Josie and Lizzie for a brief second before they fell closed again. Once she opened them again after a few minutes Josie and Lizzie were looking at her hopefully and that one word she said confirmed everything. 

"Jojo." She said softly as Josie's worried face turned to a bright smile. They were about to kiss when Hope walked in holding Greyson's hand. 

"Greyson." She said when he smiled and ran into her arms.

"Is Mommy back?" He asked when Penelope nodded and held him tightly. 

In the real world

Lizzie walked into her room and she was about to lay down for a nap but then she noticed something. The picture of Greyson was back.

She smiled before there was a knock on her door. She ran and opened it to reveal Josie and Penelope holding Greyson.

"Guys." She said wrapping her arms around all three of them and then finally pulling back.

"Penelope. I need your blood." She said when Penelope nodded and pulled out her pocket knife cutting her hand open and following Lizzie to where Hope lay. 

"After a few seconds of putting her blood into hope she felt a hand grab hers and start to drink more before finally letting go and sighing.

"Hope...." Lizzie said giving her a hug which Hope returned before kissing her passionately.
