"Where's your phone?" The guy asked Josie once he had tied both of them to chairs. Penelope was facing the wall with her chairs back against Josie's who was facing the door which was behind this tall guy holding a knife.
"In my Jacket." She said looking over to their jackets which were on the floor next to him, he searched the pockets until he found the phone and got Josie to unlock it.
"Hello. I have your daughter and some other girl. Bring the vampires back to the Salvatore school in 2 hours or both of them die." He said before hanging up and throwing the phone to the ground.
"Hey!" Josie yelled as he crushed it with his foot before leaving the room.
"We're gonna die." Penelope said quietly.
"Shut up. We're gonna be okay." Josie said turning her head as far a she could when Penelope turned hers the same way.
"What if your dad doesn't come. What if she doesn't even show?" Penelope asked in a panicky voice as Josie sighed.
"He comes, he always comes." She said when Penelope rolled her eyes.
"He always comes late Josie. And what if he decides 2 witches lives aren't worth the risk of over a hundred vampires." Penelope argued when Josie shook her head which Penelope obviously couldn't see.
"You need to calm down." Josie said when Penelope looked up.
"I don't wanna die in some shit hole." Penelope sighed before dropping her head. "I'm sorry." She said when Josie furrowed her brows.
"What?" She asked.
"I'm sorry for being such a bitch to you since I came here. I was stupid.. I wanted to be your friend but I........I didn't have great luck when it came to loved ones." She said when Josie shuffled her chair and realised it was a computer chair so it had wheels. She shuffled it until she was next to Penelope but facing the opposite direction that she was.
"What are you talking about?" She asked when Penelope closed her eyes and looked down.
"When we first met. I was a complete bitch to you. I didn't want to be. I thought you were cool and I wanted to be your friend but I didn't let anyone in. Do you know what it's like having no one be able to break your walls down for over 5 years, it's lonely but it's better then the alternative." She said keeping her head down.
"Pen. Everyone gets hurt sometime. But you have to push through it and the more people you have the easier it gets." Josie said when Penelope's face lit up.
"Reach into my back pocket." She said as Josie looked at her puzzled. "Just do it!" She added when Josie turned her chair so she could reach Penelope's back pocket. She left around for a while which was a bit awkward before she pulled out a small pocket knife.
"Why the hell do you have a pocket knife?" Josie asked Penelope who rolled her eyes.
"Just cut your ropes." She said as Josie did just that, once her ropes were undone she cut Penelope's and went or the door which was....surprise surprise....Locked with a barrier spell and since they had no idea what spell it was they couldn't undo it.
"Well. There's no way we're getting out now. I guess we just have to wait." Penelope said sighing and leaning against the counter next to her.
"What do we do while we wait?" Josie asked looking at Penelope. After a few seconds of silence Josie licked her lips and sighed as they started to grow closer and closer, soon they were right next to each other and looking between each others eyes and lips.
