Part 2

In the Au

Josie was walking through the school when she spotted her bestfriend.

"Hey Hope, I had the strangest and most awful dream last night. I had a kid with Penelope and you were Married to Lizzie, well you and Lizzie isn't that far fetched but I mean me and Penelope." Josie said as Hope looked down and blushed. Hope and Lizzie had a crush on each other since they were kids but Lizzie made Josie promise not to tell Hope she liked Hope and Hope not to tell Lizzie so it was a very complicated situation.

"Like you and Penelope is much different. Come on everyone can see the bitchy side of you is just an act that only comes out when she's around. She brings out your feisty side." Hope said as Josie rolled her eyes.

"Hey Lizzie. We were just talking about how you two should totally just drop school and make out." Josie joked as her sister hit her in the arm and tried not to blush.

"ugh, you two are useless. I can't believe you haven't asked each other out yet. How long does it take." Josie complained getting tired of watching them flirt aimlessly.

"Lizzie, Hope has lied you since you were 12...Hope Lizzie has lied you since you were 13. Now just......kiss." Josie said groaning and walking off. She was halfway down the hallway when a voice stopped her.

"I see Juliet and Juliet over there finally wised up." Penelope said looking over to Lizzie and Hope who were making out.

"What do you want Satan?" Josie asked turning to face Penelope who was leaning against a wall, Penelope was about to speak when her eyes went wide as she stuck her hand up and mumbled something keeping her gaze just behind Josie's head. Josie turned around to see a spitball right in front of her face hovering when Penelope sent it flying to the boys who threw it.

"You're welcome." Penelope said before walking off. Did Penelope just....help her?

"Looks lie you're the one who's blushing now sis." Lizzie said smiling as Josie who had her head down with flushed cheeks.

"Shut up, I am not." She argued when the bell for 5th period went. Josie had history of magic next with Dorian and Penelope happened to be seated next to her not paying attention and spinning a pen on her desk with her magic.

Penelope wasn't exactly the most popular girl in school but she was pretty respected.She was the girl who stood up for herself and people she cared about and argued back instead of just taking it which earned her some respect and a little bit of fear.

"Hey Park, do you lace yourself with a people repellent every morning or is that what  your personality is for?" A random guy who was sat behind Penelope asked when she closed her eyes and mumbled.

"Incendia."  He was laughing until his paper caught on fire making him jump back in fear.

"Is the big, strong man scared of a little bit of fire?" she asked in a baby voice as Josie giggled along with everyone else in the class. Dorian even laughed a little too before making a straight face.

"Park, Dr. Saltzman's office now" He said as she rolled her eyes and picked up her bag before strolling out. 

Penelope was about to knock when she heard an unfamiliar voice through the door. 

"They're my daughters as well Ric. I spent the last 5 years travelling Europe for a cure and there is non. Unless you know how one of them can rise from the dead?" The woman asked when Penelope got an idea. She heard about the merge from her spying pens a few days ago and did a ton of research on it and that's why she was being nice to Josie and she knew how to help them.

"Landon." Penelope said bursting in when both the blonde and Dr. Saltzman looked to her.

"Penelope this is a private conversation please-" Alaric started when Penelope cut him off by shutting the door and speaking.

"That bird boy Landon is a phoenix so he rises from the ashes when he dies and stuff. Well I heard this thing about how Hope's evil witchy grandma tied all her kids together so whatever happened to one happened to the other. If you tie the weakest twin to Landon then when they die they'll wake up again." Penelope said as Caroline smiled.

"A phoenix.. you have a phoenix at this school?" Caroline looked to Alaric who just nodded.

"Well go on then. Get the Bird boy and get this shit over with. As much as I hate Josie and Lizzie I don't want them to die so the sooner this works the sooner you no longer have to worry about the merge." Penelope said as Caroline looked at her questionably.

"How do you know about the merge?" She asked when Penelope walked over and grabbed the pen out of Alaric's pocket twiddling it in front of her.

"Spying spell." She said as Caroline looked at her impressed. 

"Okay Penelope. Go get this Landon kid and do the linking spell. Once you're done bring them to the field." Caroline said as Penelope nodded and left.

Josie, Lizzie and Landon were all luckily in the same class which is the one Penelope was kicked out of.

"Saltzman twins.  Kirby." Penelope said interrupting Dorian as everyone looked to the doorway where she was stood.

"What do you want?" Hope asked rolling her eyes.

"I wasn't talking to you Romeo I was talking to your Juliet and her slightly less annoying other half. And bird boy. Come with me." She said as all three of them stood up but before they could leave Dorian stopped them. He was about to ask why when Penelope walked over and whispered into his ear.

"We're about to go do the merge. Let us go." She said as Dorian nodded and let them leave. Once they made it to an empty classroom Penelope locked the door and ordered them to sit down.

"Okay Josie, Landon stand there Lizzie you just...sit there and do nothing I don't need you yet." Penelope said as they followed her instructions. 

"Hands." She said as both of them gave her their hands and she closed her eyes.

"Phesmantos merge his unam animam. Senguinim una cum . Phesmantos merge his unam animam. Senguinim una cum .Phesmantos merge his unam animam. Senguinim una cum ." She continued to chant until she felt it. The connection had been made.

"Okay, now can you tell us what the fuck is going on? Lizzie asked standing up as Penelope let go of their hands.

"The merge is about to happen and no matter how much I hate you I don't want you to die. Basically every pair of Gemini twins has to merge their magic and the weaker one dies. Now Josie...the weaker one..is linked to Landon so when she dies so will Landon but he will wake up an so will Josie. Make sense yes?" Penelope said calmly.

"Okay come on. you're parents are waiting on the field." Penelope sad before any of them could reply.
