We're alone now (Five x reader) (Completed)

1st Mission

Y/n POV

I watched as Five spacial jumped from dummie to dummie slicing them, stabbing them, pulling their heads off. Basically just very brutally killing them. He was doing really well so I ticked all the check boxes. I gave him a thumbs up to tell him he could stop. He walked up to me eager to find out how he did.

"You once again, checked all the boxes on the assessment. Therefore, you will be tested tomorrow to see if you can go into the field."

Five nodded, "That's great. I'm heading to the cafeteria, do you-"

I cut him off by walking away. I didn't look around because I couldn't bare to see his face and give in. I'm not quite there yet.

Five POV

"I'm heading to the cafeteria, do you-"

Y/n walked away, her greying h/c hair swooshing behind her. I understand that she's still mad with me, but it happened a very long time ago. I honestly think she's being immature but she is still letting  me pass my training so, I won't bother her.

I was quite nervous when entering the assessing room, but I came out confident. I hit all of the targets with my gun and killed all of the fake dummies that were thrown at me. I get my results later today, so I decided to go and find y/n. I needed to make up with her, I don't want her to hate me forever.

I found her sitting down with a book in her hand. I walk over to her and sit next to her. She looks up and rolls her eyes and slides away from me, I slide back towards her with a smirk on my face. Y/n smiles a little and goes back to reading her book.

"What are you reading ?"

Y/n doesn't take her eyes off her book, "It's called (Your fave book)"

"Never heard of it... Is it good?" I ask, trying to start a conversation.

Y/n nods, "You should borrow it after I have finished it."

I nod slowly, "Hey, listen, I'm so sorry for leaving you alone in the apocalypse. I was scared. I thought it was my fault you were stuck there in the first place and I didn't want you to get I any more danger. I felt so guilty, I tried coming back, but you were gone. I looked for you for years. I was so relieved when I found you here, safe."

Y/n looked up from her book, I saw glints of tears in her eyes, "Five, I'm sorry. I should have forgiven such a long time ago. It was difficult because to just left. But, I forgive you, and I hope you can forgive me too."

Y/n planted a kiss on my cheek then left, leaving me flustered.

Y/n POV

I am honestly so relieved that Five and I made up. It was killing me inside. I heard he passed his assessment, so we have to meet The Handler to get our first mission.

I knocked on the oak door and I heard the weird woman shout for me to come in. I opened the door to see Five already sitting on one of the seats opposite the Handler. I sat on the other one.

"Hi y/n. So, your first mission is a good one. We need you to make sure that The Hindenburg Disaster, happens. Go and get your uniforms, weapons and suitcase and go to May 6th, 1937.
Manchester Township, New Jersey."

We nodded and made our way to the door.

"Y/n, Five!" We both turned back towards the Handler, "Make it look like an accident."

We got a suitcase and travelled to the location. When we arrived, we quickly for behind a fence to discuss our strategy.

"Five, you take down the German guards at 7:23pm so I can get close enough to the blimp to throw a fire ball at it at 7:25pm."

Five nodded and I looked at my watch, 7:15pm.

I was about to start conversation when Five spoke up.

"Um... Got to be honest with you, I'm a bit nervous ..."

I chuckled, "That's totally normal and perfectly fine!"

Five smiled and nodded, "You know y/n, you're really beautiful."

He smacked his hand over his mouth and turned crimson... I blushed and looked at the floor.

"I... I... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to...to... do that." He stuttered.

"Five... Don't worry, you're not too bad yourself" I winked and he chuckled.

I leaned in and he started to get closer. Our faces were only centimetres apart. He broke the gap and his lips came into contact with mine, it was short but sweet. We broke off and I looked at my watch, 7:22pm.

"B.... Best get into position." I say, a little flustered.

Five nodded and special jumped away. I started to walk over to the docks. I saw the outline of Five killing or beating the German guards. I looked up and saw the outline of the blimp.

I closed my eyes and focused on heat radiating from my hand, I looked down and saw a medium sized flame in my hand. I waited until I heard a few beeps to signify it was 7:25pm so I threw the flame at the blimp, it exploded into flames and started to fall.

Five spacial jumped to me with the suitcase in his hand and we were transported back to the commission.

First mission, a success.

Hey y'all I'm so sorry I haven't updated in ageeees. In all honesty, I just couldn't be bothered lol. But I'm here with an update.
