14. rule number one

Nini woke up happy that she wasn't arguing with Ricky. She was a little nervous to go to school after the 'kiss' last night. Actually, it wasn't even a kiss, it was a peck on the lips. That's all it will ever be. Nini got up and got dressed in nice clothes since today the new girl was coming. Her name is Grace and she is coming from LA. She decided on this;

Nini grabbed her black backpack and her car keys and got in her car.

Nini sighed as she responded to Ricky's text.

Nini still remembers where Ricky lives since she's been there 2 times. She pulled into his driveway and honked the car horn.
Ricky ran out and got in the passenger seat.
"Good morning Bowen." Nini said as she backed out of his driveway.
"You too... Noodle...?" Ricky said confused.
Nini stoped the car and bursted out laughing.
"NOODLE?! WHY NOODLE!" She said loudly.
"Cause your skinny."
Nini froze up as the boy called her skinny. Nobody calls her that, they call her fat or chubby. She shook her head and continued driving. Instead of turning on the road the school is, she kept going straight.
"Schools that way, Nini-"
"I know."
"Plus aren't you showing Grace around,"
"I'll have Seb do it. Can you text him?" Nini said as she handed the boy her phone.
"Wow, trust has gone way up. Password?"
"8174" Nini said as she turned into the Starbucks parking lot.

"Starbucks..? I didn't bring cash."
"Then I'll pay. What do you want?" Nini said as she parked the car and grabbed her wallet.
"Hm, vanilla latte I guess."
Nini forgot she left her phone in the car. Big mistake
"Nini! Your-" Phone..
Ricky made sure Nini was in the building before he snooped around her phone. He entered her notes and found some song lyrics.

Was this song.. about Ricky? No. Nini wouldn't have done what she did if she liked him.
Ricky saw Nini coming back out with drinks and two bags in her hand so he quickly closed  her open apps and set her phone down.
"Here ya go.." Nini said as she got back in her car and handed Ricky a breakfast sandwich and his drink.
"Oh thanks." Ricky said awkwardly.
"Yup. Ready to go and face the wrath of angry teachers?"
I guess so. Ricky thought.
