"The world ends in eight days... And I have no idea how to stop it."

Sky was shocked. She just sat there in silence. Not even moving a muscle.

"I survived on scraps. Canned food, cockroaches. Anything I could find."

"I-I can't imagine.." Sky says, finally speaking up.

"Well... You will." Five quietly says.

"What do you mean by that?" Sky asks, not understanding what he meant.

"Sky, your power... Is fire, correct?"

"Yes." She says scrunching her eyebrows together out of confusion.

"Well, you survived the end of life on earth because of it."

No no no no no no

"We guessed that when the apocalypse came, you survived the fire that destroyed everything because your immune to it. After about a year of us surviving on our own, not knowing the other existed, I saw you walking around aimlessly. "

Vanya kept switching her eye contact between the girl and the boy.

The girl was still silent "Then, many years later... We fell in love." He says slightly smiling with his heart fluttering remembering the time Sky told him that she loved him

FLASHBACK

It was 2026, October 1rst.

The two were walking around with their wagon holding each other's hands, it brought them comfort. Inside the wagon was their best friend, Dolores, and some bottles of alcohol it was the closest thing they had to water. Even though they were the last ones left on earth, they never felt alone. Sky always brought joy to five. If he was ever about to give up, she always succeeded in giving him hope. She always knew one day, they would be able to get back. It was a cold day, snow falling everywhere. The two settled in a library and sat down.

"Can't believe this place is still standing!" Five says happily. They discovered the library the day before. "So many books we can read!" She said looking around like a child on Christmas morning. Five took Dolores out of the wagon and put her in the chair.

Sky ran into the aisles of shelves and brushed her fingers along the books, But one caught her eye. "Oh my god! Five look!! This is your sister right?" Sky asked, as she ran up to the boy and showed him a book of his sister Vanya, on the cover. It was titled "Extra-Ordinary: My Life as Number Seven".

"It is, Could I see it?" He asks leaning against the pillar in the library. "Yeah!" Sky hands him the book and sits down next to him. Eagerly looking over his shoulder at the book. She wanted to learn about his family.

Five slowly hesitates to open the book. The boy looks over his shoulder to see Sky, happily smiling at him. The first thing they saw in the book was "October 1st, 1989. 43 women around the earth gave birth, but none of these women had been pregnant when the day first began. My name is Vanya Hargreeves, and this is my life a Number Sev-"

Sky interrupts there reading "Ooh! I totally forgot! Do you know what day it is?.." She asked the boy, with a tone that was obvious.

"Its-"

"It's our birthday!!!" Sky answered without giving five a chance the answer. Five quickly giggled at how much of a talker Sky was, well once you get to know her.

Sky stood up and grabbed fives hands and walked him over to the center of the library. He stood there awkwardly as she came back with a radio in her hands. She set the radio down with a huge smile on her face, and quickly put the disk in, and the music began.

"Top 2000s hits!" the man on the radio said. "First up... Gwen Stafani- The sweet escape!"

Sky walked up towards Five with the happiest expression on her face he has seen in a while. Five couldn't help to smile back, but this time it was a genuine smile. He was happy.

"Where did you find that music?" He says walking towards her.

"I don't know! It was just sitting there on a desk, with a bunch of other disks."

Five puts out his hand, gesturing her to grab it. "Care for a dance." He says grinning.

"I would love too."

Sky starts rocking out, flinging her head everywhere, giggling her mind out. Her hair was all in her face, normally she would be very embarrassed, but with five... She didn't feel like she would be judged. She loved the boy.

She looks up out of breath from all the crazy dancing she had just done and saw five was just standing there, blushing and smiling at her. "Cmon, dance!!" She shouts, flinging her arms up towards the sky. "I know you want tooooo." She says under her breath, but making sure five could still hear her.

"Alright, Alright." Five says chuckling. He starts bopping his head. This isn't really how Reginald had them learn how to dance. He learned ballroom dancing, slow dancing. Not really knowing what he was doing, he let his body taking over. Sky and him were laughing and dancing with each other.

"You know, this isn't the type of music I grew up with." He says slowing down his dancing. "What music did you learn then?" She asks.

"Let me show you." He says before walking off to get another cd.
