Fives pov:

It was just another day in the apocalypse. About a year has gone by, and as far as I can tell, I'm the last person alive. I have been struggling to find food lately. I mean, I'm just a kid!

I miss my siblings very much, god I even miss Luther! I never thought those words would come out of my mouth. I can't even imagine how Vanya is doing, everyone just treats her like garbage.

I'm pretty sure its... 4 pm. The sun is just beginning to set. I am doing the weird stick fire thing I learned from Herr Carlson. I'm still surprised I actually learned something from him. It was quite, you would be able to hear a pin drop. Even though they probably don't even exist anymore.

I am warming a brunrt can of beans I found. It will probably taste like plastic but, oh well.

My mouth drops, including my heart once I hear loud singing in the distance. My eyes are wide and I can hear my heart beating.

No, this can't be right.. I'm the only one alive! ...Am I?

"I'm probably hallucinating," I mutter to myself before continuing what I was doing.

"Hello from the other sidddeeeeee!" The voice sings louder. It was rather beautiful, if I'm being honest. I haven't heard this song before.

"Rath- I don't know the words." The voice speaks again.

"Alright Alright," I mutter to myself. I pick up my wagon and decide to go towards the noise. Sounds like someone whos about to die in a horror movie would do. As I get closer to the singing voice, I see a campfire. I get closer and closer, until I see a figure slouching on the ground... their hands in the... fire?!

I get closer, and so far, I don't think I'm hallucinating! Her back is facing towards me. I quickly poke her back with my index finger. SOMEONE IS ALIVE! IM NOT ALONE

"AHH!" She screams, jumping up and holding a knife to my throat. Her eyebrows are furrowed and her chest is rising up and down. As she looks at me, realizing I'm a human she screams yet again. I have the biggest smile I have had in a long time.

"It's alright! I'm not gonna hurt you." I tell her calmly. My hands in the air.

"H-H-How..." She whispers removing the knife from my neck.

It was a girl, about my age. She had very long blonde hair, in a messy braid drifting along from her neck to her waist. She's wearing a black t-shirt, that has small holes in it, and she is also wearing jeans. So far, I'm pretty sure she has an accent.

She slowly, pokes my cheek, seeing if I'm real or not. Once her finger bumps into my cheek, she chuckles.

"I can't believe it!" She cheerfully says.

"How are you... alive?" I ask as she sits back down on the ground.

"I could as you the same thing." She tells me. "I- I don't know, I woke up and... Well, you know. I must have lost my memory. I remember everything else, except for how it happened."  She explains, and scoffs.

"I'm Five." I put my hand out.

"Sky." She smiles shaking my hand, then and I take a drink of my water.

"Sky hargreeves."

My eyes go wide and I spit my water out.

"WHAT?" I yell, hearing the echo go on and on.

She raises an eyebrow. "Excuse me?"

Actually, there are probably hundreds of Hargeeves.

"I'm sorry, never mind." I quickly answer.

"How did you survive?" Sky asks.

"You wouldn't understand," I smirk cockily.

She pouts. "Okay. Hungry?"

I nod my head, "The bag to the left, full of granola bars."  Sky tells me.

I walk over and there's a bag full of Granola bars, I let out a quiet chuckle before sitting down next to her.

She looks at me. "Your hurt." She winces, before grabbing my arm, with cuts on it. She Dabbs a dirty towel on my arm, wiping the blood off.  "What happened?" She asks.

"oh uh..." I begin, and she stares me in the eyes. As if shes looking at my past. I shift awkwardly. "I was trying to catch food, I fell." I tell her and she nods, changing her glance back at the wound.

She gasps before running over to the fire. "Sh!t, Sh!t." She whispers.

"What?" I ask, at her sudden panic.

"Ugh! My foods probably burnt." She sighs angrily before sticking her hand into the fire and reaching in it for food.

"What the!?" I mutter, my eyes large.

"Oh! Look at that." She chuckles, "It didn't bur- oops." She says, realizing I just saw her stick her hand into the fire. I quickly grab her hand and I look at it. Its perfectly fine, no burns at all.

"How.." I mumbled looking at her.

"Tell me how you got here and I will tell you." She smirks. "I won't trust you with my stuff until you tell me."

I sigh. She does have lots of stuff.

"Fine." I say, crossing my arms. "Just don't... run away," I smirk.

I then appear behind her. She snaps her head over to where I am now standing.

"Woah!" Sky exclaims.

"That's all? F-Fine, how did you do that now?"  I ask, crossing my arms.

She sighs before holding her hand up. Then, flames come from her fingertips and I feel my jaw drop.

"Y-your like me?"

"I guess!" Her eyes widen. "I- I haven't shown that to anyone besides my family before.." She mumbles.

I thought about that. For some reason.. I trusted her, she was like an old soul. We kind of had an instant connection.

"Now, let me help you with that wound of yours. Can you teach me how to stitch a cut?" She questions.
