Recap:
There was a knock on the door a few moments later and I nearly jumped back out of the cloths if they weren't so tight.
"I should have known," I muttered as Christopher stepped through the threshold.
******
It didn't stop her leaving me again though.
******
"This just gets better!" I snapped once I found out who had taken me.
"What?" Chris asked, confused.
His face scrunched up and small wrinkles appeared from where his eyebrows creased.
"Oh don't act stupid," I snapped. I wanted to push my way past him out of the bedroom but I didn't feel as if I had the strength.
"I'm not..." He started to look genuinely confused and annoyed now that I wouldn't tell him.
"YOU'RE THE ONE THAT TOOK ME!" I screamed, crumpling to the floor in a heap.
The tears came again and this time I didn't try to stop them.
"Oh Shay baby, you always were the one for dramatics," a very familiar, very feminine soft voice said from the doorway.
"G-Georgia?" I hiccuped.
My vision was blurry from tears, but it was her. She was standing right in front of me. Exactly as I remembered her.
"Yeah?"
"George!" I jumped up from the floor, only to land back on it with myself wrapped around Georgia's body, "oh god I missed you so much."
"I missed you too Shay," something wet started to land on my shoulder and when I pulled away from here, she was crying too.
"Why didn't you come home?" I whispered as I traced the lines of her face to make sure it was her.
"I had a new life Shay, it would of been too hard to go back. But you're here now, there's no need to go home."
I slapped her around the head gently with a frown, "what about your mum?"
"My mum will be okay."
I didn't bother to argue with her. It was enough that I knew she was alive, if I got out maybe I could tell her mum she was alright.
Yeah, I was still thinking of getting out even though I had my best-friend back, two guys who protected me when no one else would, and someone who is a slowly becoming more than I feel comfortable with.
"Anyway," Chris said from the doorway with a clap of his hands, "we gotta get going. Come on G, I'm sure Mike will be wondering where you are," she hugged me tighter at that, kissed my cheek and promised me she would be back.
It didn't stop her leaving me again though. George walked out of the room without another backwards glance at me, is she sure I'll be seeing her again?
"Come. We have dinner to get to," Chris held his hand out towards me as I got up, I ignored it and walked straight past him.
Where I ended up in was a long corridor lined with doors, a picture frame between each.
"I don't want to go to dinner with you," I sneered maliciously.
"Well then you're just going to go back in the room," he held the door open for me and raised his eyebrows, "it's your decision."
"I don't want to go back in there."
"Then dinner it is," he let the door close and started to walk down the corridor, looking back at me when he obviously didn't hear my footsteps behind him.
"Are you gonna walk or am I going to have to drag you?" He asked in a sarcastic drawl.
I didn't say anything as I slowly made my way towards Chris, he started to walk only when I reached him and checked every few steps that I was behind him.
"It should be good, I asked the cook to make your favourite."
"Ribs, chicken wings, chips and pizza?" I asked, shocked. That was a lot of food and I could never choose between the four which I liked more.
"Yes. She also made your favourite dessert. If you have room for it that is," he chuckled and I have a weak smile.
"Thanks," I muttered quietly.
Just because I was getting food which I enjoyed didn't mean that i was going to trust him. He had showed up in my life with the twins unexpectedly and seemed like he wanted my affection like it didn't have to be earned.
We reached the dinning room just as, what looked like waiting staff were putting food on the table. And a lot of food it was, there was BBQ chicken wings , cheese and bacon garlic bread, salad, and small baby BBQ ribs as a starter. But they were on huge plates with a lot of them.
"Sit," Chris pulled out a chair for me and I tentatively sat on it.
There was a large plate sitting on a bigger plate in front of me. On each side of the plate there were the different utensils that you saw in extremely posh restaurants.
One of the waiting staff started to give food to me and Chris in large quantities, and stood back in a corner until we were finished, it was then that she took the plates away and other people came out to help.
"Did you like it?" Christopher asked me.
"Yeah," I sat stiffly in my seat with my hands in my lap.
The same people came out of the kitchen, three people had to carry the pizza as it was too big for one person, and the others carried sauce, salad, more garlic bread, wings and ribs as well as some fried bacon and more food toppings to go on the pizza.
"Woah..." I muttered as I looked around at all the food. There was no way that I would be able to eat much more, "why so much?"
"It doesn't matter. The maids will eat whatever we don't," he picked food from the plates for me to eat as he obviously thought the 'maids' were being too slow.
"I'm not being locked back in that room," I snapped suddenly when I remembered where I had been.
"Ah, right," he looked down at his plate awkwardly, "sorry. I just didn't want you running away or anything."
"I'm not gonna go anywhere unless George comes with me."
"Well then you'll be here a long time."
I huffed but said nothing.
Eating in silence was not my ideal way of eating, but I would rather be doing that than being bored out of my mind.
"Ooh," I heard a feminine voice said from the corridor, "can I smell ribs?"
Georgia came bounding into the room and fell onto the seat next to me. I smiled at her as this is exactly as I remembered her acting, bouncy and childish but still mature.
A plate was placed in front of her and she piled it with food. Soon enough Mikhail and Lockie also joined us.
It felt good to have Georgia with me in a house full of people I didn't know. They kept walking past the open door and looking in, and then leaving when Chris shook his head.
"Come on," Georgia seized one of my hands in hers and pulled me up after her when dinner was done.
"Where are we going?" I asked, she didn't answer and when we reached the room she pushed the door open and locked it behind us.
"What are you doing?" I asked instead.
"We have some catching up to do," she sat down on the bed and I sat next to her, "okay. Tell me everything."
