5. Waiting for you.

What's going on here?!!

Yeah, good question, especially when you're perfectly aware of the relationship between Yukiko and the Thai Doctor, Ai'Shin.

But what if...

Kim, "Look, just relax, okay?!" And why are you so affected?!

He wanted to explain everything to his boss, but Tae continue to glare at him.

Tee sat down in front of the grave stone and touched those engraved letters, as if tracing every stroke would remind him of some important details from Yukiko's memories.

And it's true..

it seems, He really did missed it.

He turned around and looked at those idiots having petty banter infront of him.

There's something about Mr. Kim..

Something hidden.. from the depths of his memories.

Tee, "Ah! Yes, that's it!"

Kim, "huh?"

Tae, "What?"

He finally remembered when was the first time he heard that voice...

" Come with me, I'll keep you safe. I promise."

And his silhouette..

"I'm sorry, but I swear I'll do anything to make you happy.."

That man! That's him, he's very sure of it.

Tee, "That man, That's Dr. Ming!"

And when that realization hit him, flashes of those hidden memories, flowed like water that has been stacked in a well.

  When Yukiko arrived in chiang Mai, he did his best to look for Ai'Shin, only to find out about the poor man's death.

Because Ai'Shin died during the epidemic, the family decided to Cremate him, and throw his ashes to the sea, and watch the wind gently embraced it as if it's guiding him back to where his beloved was.

During those time, Yukiko was on his way to Chiang Mai. He kept on dreaming of his man, and those dreams ignited his desire to be with him. As if the only thing that matters was his Shin.

And with the man's death, it felt like, life finally succeeded on pushing him to the edge.

He went to the cliff, and found those flowers around surrounded a Black Ceramic Jar, with Japanese Characters written as, "新日ー先生ありがとうございました。(Thank you, Dr. Shin.) "

It was clearly written by someone who knows how to read and Write Japanese. And there's no doubt that, the man was..

"Yukiko-san?"

He turned around and face the man who called his name..

"Ming-Sensei?" Was it really him? Although there are stubble to his face, those eyes reminded of him of that man who loves bickering around Shinichi. Ah! It's really him, huh?.

"Hai. It's me." When somebody told him that there's a foreigner looking for Ai'Shin, tho it's quite impossible, he knew that it's him. "You're finally here,  Yukiko-san."

Yukiko, "hai." Then he glanced at the stone tablet infront of him, "I'm sorry, sorry that it took me so long to follow him."

Ming, "uhn, he's been waiting for you.." waiting for his beloved to be with him. "But.."

Yukiko, "It's too late."

Ming, "... he .. he did his best to save a lot of people.."

Yukiko, "and yet failed to save his own life. feh, what kind of doctor is that?"

Ming, "A kind of doctor who's willing to put his life on the line just to save his patients."

Yukiko, "And then? Now that he's... now that's he's dead, was he able to save more patients while he's lying 6ft under the ground?"

Ming, "he's not.."

Yukiko, "What?" What do you mean he's not .. wait you mean..

Ming, "I'm sorry, but it's true. Dr. Shin passed away a year ago. What I'm trying to say was, since he died during the plague, we.. we decided to Cremate him. What's buried under the stone tablet was just his urn."

I see..

So there's really nothing left of him huh?

Yukiko kneeled down and used his handkerchief to wipe off the dust to the stone tablet and asked Mingkwan if he knew where he could stay while he's in Chiang Mai.

Then Mingkwan asked him to stay at Ai'shin's place but Yukiko rejected it.
" If it's possible, I'd like to live near the hospital, I'd like to study medicine."

And Mingkwan was surprised when he heard it, "You want to become a doctor?"

Then Yukiko told him what he saw while he's on his way earlier, "Yeah, to help others." The way Shin did when he's still alive.

Dr.Ming wanted to dismissed his idea but then, he remembered Ai'Shin told him about Yukiko's capability when it comes to oriental medicine. "Very well."
