As Time goes by, Yukiko didn't just learned to practice his new profession as a doctor, but also learned how to speak the local language along with the other foreign students who went to Siam with him.
Although he chose to live few blocks away from where Shin used to live, the other doctor, Dr. Ming supported him. He also encouraged him to just focus on treating poor children's illness, "The kids like to be around you anyway."
