"I promise-I don't care how hard it's gonna be or how long it takes because when it's my time, when I'm up and it's my turn to fly, I'm taking you to the sky with me, I can't do it without you,"

"Shit is stressing me out," Xavi rubbed his hands over his head. "Every time I get alone with my damn girlfriend, something happen. You know the fire alarm in her building went of last night, G? The whole building," he complained to Javen, and she tried her best not to laugh.
"I'on see what's funny, nigga," he chuckled.
"It's not funny! I mean—it's a lil funny. You can't be mad at me, nigga because when I was going through a drought not three months ago you was on my ass!" she pointed and he couldn't help but die laughing. Javen had been his best friend for years, she was the only person he ever went to for girl problems, or advice. Tyler clearly was not the right choice for those types of issues.
Today, he had no workouts since he didn't have a match for a while so he decided he'd take Javen for lunch on her break. The shop was actually pretty slow today so she didn't mind stepping out with her best friend for a while.
"Anyway, how's ol' boy? What's his name again?" Xavion asked, sipping from his water.
"Jace, he's so good," she sighed dreamily. "I spent the night last night, we stayed up so late Xavi, like some teenagers on FaceTime," she giggled.
"Aw, how disgusting," he pouted and she laughed. "Nah for real, I'm happy for you, KJ. When Ima meet him?"
"We'll actually, next weekend would be perfect, we could do a double date?" she offered. "If you and my sis are free that is,"
"Since when is Emari your sis?" he chuckled.
"Since I got her number and we talk, duh," she said. "Me and her cool, you got you a good girlfriend, Xavi. Don't be like Ty and do no stupid shit, I will not hesitate to cuss yo ass out," she warned him.
"Now you know I'm not on no shit like that. Emari is my girlfriend, we are not the same," she shook his head. "He called me the other day, nigga complaining about being single. I said go cuff shorty, he tell me she got a nigga now. You know what I said?"
"That's what yo' dumb ass get," she spoke at the same time as him and they both shook their heads. "He not gon learn," she rolled her eyes. "I love Ty, I love that boy to death but he really really needs a reality check. He's almost 27,"
"We all are almost 27! I need my boy to get it together. Alone, he don't need to break no more hearts, nigga gon have somebody daddy and big brothers on his ass," he snickered.
"Like that time after we graduated," she laughed.
