Alexis' POV
I was walking around New York at 9pm with Zeeva and stopping at the closed bridal stores looking at the other dresses. "Zeeva, do you think I picked the right dress?" I asked.
"You look beautiful in the Vera Wang you bought but do you want to know something?" asked Zeeva. I looked at her as we kept walking. "Tony he gets on my nerves, a lot, but you make him happy and he loves you with all he has. I never knew about you until the second year he started working at NCIS." I smiled. "He smiles everytime we ask about you and he talks about you. The first thing I asked him was how did he ever get a girl and that's when he told me you were his fiancee." I nodded. "Tony loves you."
"Yeah but since he's been gone, I've changed," I said. "We've been together for five years and I don't know. I just feel something different."
"Probably wedding jitters," said Zeeva. "You're getting married tomorrow."
"Yeah, I hope you're right," I said. We walked into Starbucks and I accidentally bumped into someone. "I'm so sorry."
"No, you're alright," said the guy. "It's my fault."
I looked at who it was. "Blake," I said.
"Alexis?" asked Blake. "What are you doing in New York?"
"I'm, uhm, it'll be easier for you to read," I said getting an envelope from my purse with Blake's name on it. "I didn't know what your address was and if I sent this to the After Romeo PO Box, you probably wouldn't get it." I handed it to Blake. "I hope you can make it."
"I'll definately try," said Blake. "Are you coming to the concert tomorrow? It's at seven that night."
"Yeah, I'd love to," I said.
"If you're done by that time," said Zeeva.
"Look, Tony will just have to compromise," I said. "Sometimes I wish you can have a concert on Sunday."
"Are you going to be able to even get up Sunday morning?" asked Zeeva.
Blake started reading the invitation aloud, "You've been invited to witness the marriage of a small town girl, Alexis Sengdeuan Inthavong, and a NCIS special agent, Anthony "Tony" Denozzo, unite as one on Saturday, April 16th at 5pm."
"His expression after reading that doesn't look so good," whispered Zeeva.
"Oh, you're getting married," said Blake. "Well, this Denozzo guy is a lucky guy." He managed to send a small smile my way. "You'll make a beautiful bride."
"Thanks Blake," I said. We hugged and this hug was different from the other hugs we've had. "I have to go."
"Just know," Blake whispered. "I will always love you."
We let go. "I love you too, Blake," I said as he left.
"When he said "I love you" to you, I don't think he means as a friend," said Zeeva. I nodded. "You have a decision to make and this is one I'm not helping you with." I looked at her. "You're already putting me in a dress on your wedding day. Do you know how rare it is to see me in a dress?"
"Yeah," I said. "Let's go see the guys."
"You can't see Tony for another twenty hours," said Zeeva as we walked into the Plaza Hotel. "Do you really want to cause bad luck?"
"I'm talking about McGee and Gibbs," I said, raising an eye brow. We walked into our hotel room. "Hey McGee and Gibbs." I sat on the couch looking at my wedding dress on the mannequin. "Are you ready to walk me down the aisle tomorrow, Gibbs?"
