Alexis' POV

I woke up Wednesday morning at 5 and showered. I got dressed in jeans, a white spaghetti strap, and a black sports jacket. I put my pocket knife in my pocket. I walked into the living room. "Oh, everyone's up," I said.

"Parents left early," said Britney.

"Okay," I said as I looked at the TV. "Ooh, Supernatural."

"You love this show too?" asked Nathan.

"Who doesn't?" I asked. "My fave is Sam Winchester and I know he's Britney's fave too."

"I wonder how this would be in real life," said Nathan.

"Well, I'll let Britney have Sam and I'll take Dean," I said. "Sounds fair? I mean, Dean he is funny at times and he is attractive but he can't replace Sam, ever." I took the seat by the window. "It's only fair if I let my bae pick first."

"So, when is your mystery person going to be here?" asked Britney.

"I don't know," I said. I saw an Escalade pull up. I perked up and looked out the window. Blake stepped out of the car. "He's here." I opened the door and ran up to him. He picked me up and spun me around. "I'm glad you're here."

"Me too," said Blake hugging me tight. He let go. "Are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine. Physically and mentally now that you're here." I gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you for coming."

"Hey, I'll come no matter how far you are," said Blake.

"Come here, I want you to meet someone." I pulled Blake into the house and the rest of the guys followed. Before I could get a word out, Britney's jaw dropped. "Well, there's Britney."

"Britney," said Devin. He gave her a hug. "Hey, I didn't know you knew my Juliet."

"Uhm, she's my bae first," I said. "And the guy on the couch, is Nathan. He saw his parents murdered too." I looked at Blake as he hugged me close. "I think his dad died trying to protect mine and mine died trying to protect us." My phone rang and I looked at it. "Excuse me. I have to get this. Please, make yourselves at home while her parents aren't here." I smiled and walked into the kitchen. I picked up the phone. "Hello?"

"Hi sweetie," said the familiar female voice.

"Mom? You're alive?" I asked.

She sighed. "I will always be your mother but I'll never be your mom," she replied. "Just know I'll always be watching you from a distance."

I looked out the kitchen window. "I want to see you one last time. Please?"

"No sweetie. It's dangerous. Don't worry though. The CIA won't be after you and Nathan anymore. You have fun with your friends and boyfriend."

"Mom, I want you to meet Blake," I said.

"I can't. It'll put him in danger too and I can't have any of you in the line of fire. If you need money, take your clothes out of the suitcase and cut the lining. Your suitcase is lined with cash. Give Nathan a hundred grand. That's one band and tell him to hit the road. It's not safe for the two of you to be together. Tell him to take the bike too."

"I have to see you one more time, Mom, and you have to meet Blake."

"Goodbye Alexis."

"Mom?" I asked as she hung up. "Mom?" I walked out of the kitchen and opened the front door. I saw a car speed off. "I'm too late."

"What's wrong?" asked Blake.

"My Fort Worth Mom," I said. "I didn't get to see her one last time before she left." My phone rang and I quickly answered. "Hello? Mom?"
