Britney's POV

"Okay," I said finishing Alexis' journel. Alexis walked in. "Hey. I haven't found any cases."

"I hope not," said Alexis. "I don't want any cases." She walked into her closet, changed, and walked out. This time she was in skinny jeans, a red crop top, a black leather jacket, and black high top wedges. She had her gun clipped to her pants and her badge in her pocket. I looked at her. "What? Blake is taking me ice skating but seriously. No cases."

"Same here, especially with the guys around," I said. "I don't want to find any sulfer either around here."

"Yeah," said Alexis. "Okay, so this song. We need to find out who gets solos."

"I think Drew should do background harmonies of the song since he knows it," I said as Alexis nodded. "My dad wants me to have a solo and I want you to have a solo." Alexis started processing the information. "I also want Blake and Devin to have a solo. Nothing big and nothing small."

"Okay," said Alexis. She grabbed a notebook and started writing things down. "Okay. I think I got it." She grabbed my guitar. "Let's see if I still got this." She started strumming my my mouth dropped. She stopped when she saw me. "What?"

"You can play guitar," I said. "You can play."

"Yeah," said Alexis. "Let's go see the guys. You don't with my notes?" I nodded as she grabbed her notebook and my guitar. "Come on." We walked downstairs. "Okay. I think we got it figured out." We sat down on the couch. "Let's try this."

"Alright," said Drew as we all circled around. "Who's playing?"

"I'm going to attempt to," said Alexis.

"That's an understatement," I said smiling.

"Okay," said Alexis handing the guys the notebook. "Those are the notes. Here we go."

She started strumming. "Hey yeah, yeah," Drew sang. "Ohh yeah."

"Light of the world, you stepped down into darkness, opened my eyes. Let me see," I sang as I smiled at Devin. "Beauty that made this heart adore you, hope of a life spent with you. With you."

"Hey yeah," Drew harmonized.

"So, here I am to worship," we joined as she sped up a little. Drew did background harmonies."Here I am to bow down. Here I am to say that you're my God. She strummed the last chords. "I didn't know you could play," said Drew as Alexis handed me my guitar. "You need to play more."

"I am going to since I am working on a song," said Alexis. "It's actually a duet."

"If you get it done by Saturday, maybe we can perform it together," said Blake.

"I'll actually like that," said Alexis.

"We gotta go," said Blake. "We're going ice skating in Dallas."

"Okay, bye," I said as her and Blake left. "What are we going to do?"

"Wait five minutes," said Jayk looking at his watch.

"Why are we waiting?" I asked.

"Blake is going to ask Alexis out and he wants us to be there," said Drew grabbing the keys. I saw the car leave the driveway. "He's giving us a thirty minute window."

"To get there half an hour earlier than he does?" I asked. "He just left."

"He's going to be driving thirty minutes around Austin," said Drew.

"Let's go," said Jayk.

We got in the escalade. "I want to get their couples status on video," I said smiling.

Devin's POV

"You know she wants to be with Blake?" I asked.

"They're like the perfect couple," said Britney. "The way he treats her." I looked at her. "I mean, we're a perfect couple too."

"Wait, you two are together?" asked Jayk.

"We kinda got together yesterday and didn't want to tell Alexis," I said. "I've been talking to Britney for a month and it just sorta happened."

"Nothing like this just sorta happens," said Jayk. "Blake planned how he was going to ask her."

"Oooo! You know what he's going to do?" asked Britney.

"Yeah," said Drew. "While you were researching, Blake told us the whole thing."

"How's he planning to ask?" asked Britney.

"He's going to make a huge heart out of white rose petals on the rink," I said. "On the inside, carved in the ice, will say "will you be my girlfriend?" and he's going to be standing somewhere around there."

"Then the zambonie will clean it up when he gets his answer," said Jayk.

"He put a lot of thought into the planning," said TC. "Where is Jonnie going to get white rose petals." We got to the Galleria Dallas mall and pushed our way close to the rink. We made it and we saw it. The way I described it was perfect. I was kinda glad nobody recognized us. I pulled Britney up beside me. "Jonnie did amazing."

"Yeah, he did," I said.

"Where's the happy couple?" asked Britney.

Everyone was taking pictures of it. "It did manage to attract a huge crowd," I said looking at everyone. "Blake really out did himself on this one."

"I think it's romantic," said Britney.

"He is the hopeless romantic of the group," said Drew.

"Guys, there he is," I said. Blake skated on the ice and saw us. He skated over to us. "Hey."

"Glad you guys could make it," said Blake.

"We wouldn't miss this for the world," said Britney.

"It's going to take her a little while because I said I needed to go to the bathroom," said Blake. "But she'll get curious to come see what the crowd is looking at."

"Yeah, you attracted a lot of people," I said.

"Shows how much I truely love her," said Blake.

"Well, you already know she loves you," I said. "Make this one count." Blake smiled and took his place on the ice. "She's a special one for sure."
