The Festival

I went to school late as always until I received a notification from the university page. stating "all classes are canceled and please do enjoy the whole festive celebration" and not even stepping at the university I already see streamers balloons everywhere but they're where fewer people hanging at the university.

Other migth have already gone to the University Plaza by now, where a food tent and a small concert were going to happen. Last year in my freshman year  I just hang out here, away from everyone but now I'm kinda interested in what kind of things are about to show at that Plaza.

I went there and from a distance, I can already see so many people at the plaza. I'm kinda backing up of how much people were there until Saifa and Tutor saw me from a distanced and called my ass and asked to join them.

I guess I have no choice, We entered the Plaza that's filled with so many people.

"What a surprise to see you going here," Tutor said.

"Yeah, Last year you didn't attend right?" Saifah asked, I nod my head and just followed the two from where ever this two is heading.

They stopped at a photo booth and The two came inside, I decided to not participate and just wait for them to finish but They both insisted as I get pulled inside the booth.

We smiled in front of the camera and posed different kinds of silly looks, The camera flash three times giving us 10 seconds to form new silly poses.

After the booth, they ran towards the pit ball game in a little bounce house, the two looked like kids eagerly wanting to play, I didn't feel like trying this one and so I back out but Saifah and Tutors look on their face were irresistible.

I then joined them we paid fr out tickets and went in. It was a game like a dodge ball who gets the ball first will get the first hit. It looked simple to play but It was really hard, as I went inside the bounce house I slipped, not expecting to be that slippery.

I was teamed with two other students that looked like in the same batch as mine, On the other hand, Tutor and Saifah where our Opponents with their other teammates. 

"You're going down my dudes!" Saifah teasingly threatens us, with a look of a hunter about to attack his prey.

"We'll see about that My Guy!" One of my opponents yelled I have a high expectation with my opponents, there competitive as hell.

"3...2...1...GO!"

The Game finally began, All of us players ran towards the center to get the ball but as I took a step, I slipped falling on my face, but I didn't give up and crawl my way to the center. I felt stupid doing it but I kept crawling.

As soon as I got up to my knees, Saifah's team already have half of the balls. as for my team have one ball each one of them, and I have none. The second option was to try not to get hit by the balls but that didn't end well for me. I tried running away but I slipped again and fell down, then got hit by the ball.

I was out, leaving my two of my opponents still competing but sadly they lost because of the balls that they can trow.

The person who was in charge of the game let us all out, Tutor and Saifah got their reward and joyfully enjoy their success.

My component came to us, They looked furious as hell. I got a feeling that these two will cause trouble but the guy with straight hair held his hands for a handshake.

"Nice game guy" they both smiled and shook their hands.

"I apologies for failing," I said.

"Dude what's up with the formal apologies, It's fine, and Besides your friends were Horificly fast," The other one said.

"Don't mind him, my dudes. My friend here is just born too rich resulting from his formality, anyway's My Name's Saifah"

"I'm Tutor we're from the engineering faculty except Non whose in Tourism faculty.

" I'm Phuak and this is Fong both from the Faculty of Law"

Faculty of Law? Their faculty migth be far from ours cause I've never seen them before. They invited us to join them to watch the performance of Scrubb. didn't have any plans after it and just join them.

There was a small stage in front of the gym building where performers play their's songs Phuak and Fong had another friend waiting for the Scrubb band to perform.

" Tine! my dude, I brought some friends over, This is Saifah, Tutor, and Non. Dudes this is my friend, Tine"

We shook hand with Tine who seems so exited from the upcoming performance of the Scrubb.

I stood next to Tine who was silently waiting for the band to perform as Saifah, Puak, and the other's chit chat.

"you seem very excited huh?!" I pointed out.

"Hell Yeah I am excited, this is my first time seeing The Scrubb perform live" The excitement on his tone only already shows it.

"Ladies and Gents, Straight or Non-Binary We'll have our intermission before we start The Scrubb performance"

Dancers came on stage to dance for the Entrance. They were wearing loose and floral shirts and denim pants, looking like one of those K-pop groups.

"I know I want It, I don't wanna hide pretending I don't want it"

The song was from twice, I Think It was More and More. I remembered Keiyan used to listen to that song during our tutoring.

I was silently vibing with the song but I didn't pay much attention to the dancers, Until.

"Non! Non! Kieran's on the stage performing!"

My eyes widen from shock, I felt my heart pound. I Immediately looked for Keiyan.

" I'm a greedy boi sorry if you didn't know to take my apology cause I want you more and more"

He is dancing on the stage, He was in the middle as he Raps his heart out. I didnt know how I missed seeing him up there.

"Damn, Keiyan got moves" Saifah commented.

I tried containing the relieved emotion dwelling up inside me. I finally saw him, he's their dancing smoothly with the other members. That smile as he dances, that's the smile I've been looking for. 

I smile as I admire him from afar through the whole dance and as the dancers exited the I made a move to go to him, But Saifah stopped me.

"dude where ya going?" he concerned asked.

"I'm going to see Keiyan again" 

" dude wait for us, Tutor let's go!"

"Huh?! where we heading?"

"To Keiyan!"
