Skyspin's P.O.V.

Slowly I opened my eyes to see the Whispering Death staring at me. The dragon growled at me threateningly and I just whimpered. "Who are you and what are you doing in my territory?", the Whispering Death asked me. "I-I didn't know t-that this was your territory.", I managed to stutter out. Lightning flashed again. I counted 1... 2... 3... And thunder sounded again. The storm was only three miles away. The Whispering Death looked suspicious. I glanced at my scales to see that pale green was all over them. I tried to stomp down my fear and change my scales to a light blue streaked with shades of violet. But green still found its way on my scales. Rain started to pitter-patter around me. The dragon growled one more time and left through the tunnel that it had made. Lightning struck and not a moment after I heard thunder. I managed to calm down enough to decide what to do. On the one wing I could stay here and risk getting killed. On the other I could run through the forest and try to find shelter. On the third I could try to fly through the rain to safety. But on the fourth I could try to fly above the storm and flee to safety. None of those choices sounded safe. I decided to look for shelter in the forest. I ran along the ground using my second set of wings as front legs. I found a small cove that had a nice cave in it where I could stay and wait out the storm. Gliding down into the cove I walked into the cave and walked through the entire space of it. It was big enough for a full-grown Stormcutter to live in and still have enough room to pace back and fourth. I decided to wait out the storm here. Settling down I thought I would never be able to fall asleep. Finally I fell into a dreamless sleep.
