Take me on adventures.
I want to be whisked away,
Swept off my feet
Throwing caution into the wind
Like the multicolored leaves
Being
Blown away
From the dry grey concrete
on a warm Autumn day.I never really liked this town anyways.
With it's
Barren streets and
Boring people
They
Leave me with a
Bare feeling
Boring deep into me.I want to escape
to an unknown world
where no one knows our names.
Run away,
Like thieves
Into the night
Stealing
What little of ourselves
We have left.
Finding an inimitable place
Just for us.Where the sun
Shines on our faces,
Warming every cold crack and crevice
Within us.
The rain
Washes away our sadness,
Until it
Percolates into nothingness,
Seeping into the forgotten.
Where the waves
Crash on the shores
Proffering a new beginning.
