"You can't blame gravity for falling in love."

Albert Einstein

I still can't comprehend how we got to this point. Tony is a superhero now. Of all the possibilities I ran through my head when he was kidnapped this was not one of the outcomes. From now on everything is going to be different. My life is going to be different.

It's been six months since Tony Stark announced to the world that he was Iron Man. Tony has decided that he needs to revive his father's old Stark Expo. He says it's to show the world what the future is capable of being. I think it's just a huge ego boost for him.

In true Tony fashion he decides that his entrance has to be bigger and better than anyone can imagine. So Tony is currently hurtling towards the earth after having jumped out of an airplane. He lands perfectly in the middle of the stage surrounded by dancing girls and fireworks while AC/DC blasts over the speakers.

He dismantles the Iron Man suit. The crowd is cheering for him, "Tony! Tony! Tony! Tony!"

"It's good to be back. You missed me?" Tony asks.

"Blow something up!" a guy in the crowd shouts.

"I missed you too. Blow something up? I already did that. I'm not saying that the world is enjoying its longest period of uninterrupted peace in years because of me. I'm not saying that from the ashes of captivity, never has a greater phoenix metaphor been personified in human history. I'm not saying that Uncle Sam can kick back on a lawn chair, sipping on an iced tea because I haven't come across anyone who's man enough to go toe-to-toe with me on my best day," Tony states.

"I love you, Tony!" a woman shouts.

"Please, it's not about me," Tony says.

People are still cheering for Tony.

"It's not about you. It's not even about us. It's about legacy. It's about what we choose to leave behind for future generations. And that's why for the next year and for the first time since 1974, the best and brightest men and women of nations and corporations the world over will pool their resources, share their collective vision, to leave behind a brighter future. It's not about us. Therefore, what I'm saying, if I'm saying anything, is welcome back to the Stark Expo," Tony states. A big cheer erupts from the crowd. "And now, making a special guest appearance from the great beyond to tell you what it's all about, please welcome my father, Howard."

On the Screen Howard Stark pops up. "Everything is achievable through technology. Better living, robust health, and for the first time in human history, the possibility of world peace. So, from all of us here at Stark Industries, I would like to personally introduce you to the City of the Future. Technology holds infinite possibilities for mankind. And will one day rid society of all its ills. Soon technology will affect the way you live your life every day. No more tedious work, leaving more time for leisure activities and enjoying the sweet life. The Stark Expo. Welcome."

I shake my head as I turn off the TV. I'm already in Washington, D.C. in anticipation for a meeting with Fury in the morning. My phone buzzes. It's Tony.

"Did you like the show?"

I laugh lightly. "It was very much in Tony Stark fashion."

"Wish you were here to see it in person. We could do some celebrating," Tony tells me.

"I told you I had business in DC," I remind him.

"Seems I do too," Tony says.

"What does that mean, Tony?" I question.
