"The greatest thing you'll ever learn is to love and be loved in return."

Nat King Cole

After defeating Ultron in Sokovia things changed. Tony opened the new Avengers facility upstate. But I've been staying at the tower for the past two months. I couldn't bring myself to move just yet.

I'm at the facility to talk to Tony. I walk into his lab, but Tony doesn't look up from what he's working on.

"What are you doing here, Addison?" Tony asks.

"I have to talk to you," I tell him.

"A phone call wouldn't do?" Tony questions.

I shake my head. "Not this time."

Tony finally looks up at me. "What is it, Addison?"

"I'm pregnant," I blurt out.

Tony looks at me surprised. "Pregnant?" I nod my head. "Do you want to keep it?"

I nod my head again. "Yeah. I do."

"I want you to move into the compound," Tony tells me. "My dad wasn't there when I was a kid and I'm not gonna do that to my kid. I'll be there for you every step of the way."

I smile slightly. "Alright."

"Everything'll work out, AP, I promise," Tony tells me.

Tony kept his word. He's been there for every doctor's appointment. He's helped me decorate the nursery and bought every single toy he could find. I know he's nervous about being a father but he's going to be great.

I smile as I watch Tony put Asher down in his crib. Tony hasn't wanted to let him out of his sight all day. It's been seven hours since we brought him home and I think Tony has left the nursery once for a bathroom break.

"We made that," Tony states.

I laugh slightly as I put my hand on Tony's shoulder. "We did."

"He looks like you though," Tony insists.

"He's got your nose," I counter.

"Either way he's gonna be a genius," Tony says. I smile. "How are we gonna know if he..."

"Has his mom's powers?" I ask.

Tony nods. "Yeah."

I shrug my shoulders. "We wait. It's all we can do."

"I don't care. I'll love him just the same." Tony smiles. "If anything, it's an excuse to make him a suit."

I hit Tony in the shoulder. "No way in hell he is getting a suit until he's eighteen and probably not even then."

Tony laughs. "We'll see."

Tony and I have fallen into the swing of parenting. I even started to go back out on the dating scene. Tony is watching Asher tonight while I go on a date.

When I get back from my date I head to the nursery. Tony is sitting in the rocking chair with Asher sleeping on his chest. I smile at the sight.

"How was the date?" Tony whispers. I shrug my shoulders. "What did he have bad breath? Drive a shitty car? Flirt with a waitress."

I shake my head. "I don't... We just didn't... He just wasn't..." I sigh.

Tony stands up to put Asher in his crib. "He wasn't me," Tony teases.

I roll my eyes. "Well, that was actually part of the appeal in the beginning."

"And now?" Tony asks.

"And now I've realized I need someone with at least half your intelligence," I tell him.
