"If you find someone you love in your life, then hang on to that love."

Princess Diana

I stand in the doorway of Mia's room. She is sound asleep in her crib. She's so little but she can still tell something isn't right. She hasn't seen Tony in twenty-three days. Asher has been asking for Daddy and I can't even tell him where Tony is because I don't know.

It feels like an eternity. I lost the love of my life. I lost the father of my children. It's just so hard. I have to put on a brave face every day not just for the kids but for the rest of the Avengers as well.

Suddenly the room starts to shake. Somehow the kids don't feel it. They definitely get the heavy sleeping from me.

I rush out into the yard. I see everyone else standing around. They're all looking at Steve and Tony. I gasp in surprise as I run towards the two.

"Oh, my God! Oh, my God!" I shout as I pull Tony into a tight hug. I let out a sob.

"Are, uh...?" Tony trails off.

I nod my head. "They're perfect."

Tony and I head inside. He refuses to do anything before seeing the kids. I lean in the doorway as Tony watches them. I can see tears in his eyes.

"I can wake them up," I offer.

Tony shakes his head. "Let them sleep."

I put my hand on Tony's shoulder. "God. I thought I lost you."

"I thought I lost you. I thought the kids were gone," Tony confesses.

I shake my head. "I'm not going anywhere, Ton. Not now, not ever."

We all sit in the living room ready to tell Tony all we know. Tony is sitting at a table, getting an IV. I sit next to him, still shocked to see him alive. A holographic casualty report lists the names and faces of those lost to the Decimation.

"It's been 23 days since Thanos came to Earth," Rhodey reminds us.

"World governments are in pieces. The parts that are still working are trying to take a census. And it looks like he did... he did exactly what he said he was gonna do. Thanos wiped out fifty percent, of all living creatures," I explain.

"Where is he now? Where?" Tony asks.

"We don't know. He just opened a portal and walked through," Steve informs him.

Tony looks towards Thor. He hasn't spoken much since the Snap.

Tony looks at me. "What's wrong with him?"

"Oh, he's pissed. He thinks he failed. Which of course he did, but you know there's a lot of that's going around, ain't there?" Rocket remarks.

"Honestly, until this exact second, I thought you were a Build-A-Bear," Tony taunts.

"Maybe I am," Rocket offers.

"We've been hunting Thanos for three weeks now. Deep Space scans, and satellites, and we got nothing. Tony, you fought him," Steve says.

"Who told you that?" Tony asks, surprised. "I didn't fight him. No, he wiped my face with a planet while the Bleecker Street Magician gave away the store. That's what happened. There was no fight."

Steve nods his head. "Okay."

"He's unbeatable," Tony insists.

"Did he give you any clues, any coordinates, anything?" Steve asks.

"Pfft! I saw this coming a few years back. I had a vision. I didn't wanna believe it. Thought I was dreaming," Tony tells us.

"Tony, I'm gonna need you to focus," Steve states.
