I head to Stark Industries. Occasionally I help Pepper out as a consultant. It usually has to do with anything Pepper thinks I'll stick my nose in anyways. She even tried to get me back to the company, but I've been a little preoccupied with SHIELD and the Avengers and Tony. Maybe one day if I retire from being an Avenger I'll go back to engineering, but I don't think that day will come anytime soon.

I see Happy as I walk into the lobby. He points to his badge passing the other employees. "Badge. Badge. Come on, badge. Badge, guys. I put a memo in the toilet, come on."

I smile as I walk over to him. "These people just do not respect you enough, Happy."

Happy sees me and groans. "Where is your badge?"

I laugh. "I don't work here anymore so I don't have one."

"You should have been issued a visitor's badge," Happy tells me.

I shrug my shoulders. "I guess you should get on that badge man."

Happy gives me a look. "Addison, what are you doing here?"

"I'm sitting in on a meeting with Pepper," I inform him.

Happy nods his head. "I'm headed up to see her now."

I sit in while Happy and Pepper talk about the security of the building.

"Tony has got them in his basement, they're wearing party hats. This is an asset that we can put to use," Happy tells Pepper.

Pepper nods her head. "Uh-huh. So, you're suggesting that I replace the entire janitorial staff with robots?"

"What I'm saying is that the human element of Human Resources is our biggest point of vulnerability. We should start phasing it out immediately," Happy clarifies.

Pepper looks at him surprised and confused. "What? Did you just say that?"

"Security," Happy states.

I give him a look. "Happy?"

"Yes," Happy says.

"Okay, I am thrilled that you're now the Head of Security, okay? It is the perfect position for you," Pepper states.

Happy smiles. "Thank you."

"However..." Pepper starts.

"I do appreciate it," Happy states.

"Since you've taken the post..." Pepper continues.

"You don't have to thank me," Happy tells her.

"We've had a rise in staff complaints of three hundred percent," Pepper informs him.

"Thank you," Happy says.

I shake my head. "I don't think that was a compliment."

"That's not a compli...? It is a compliment! Clearly somebody's trying to hide something," Happy accuses.

"I..." Pepper starts.

Her assistant sticks her head in the door. "Excuse me."

Pepper looks up at her. "Yes?"

"Miss Potts, your four o'clock is here," the woman states.

"Thank you," Pepper states.

"Did you clear this four o'clock with me?" Happy asks.
