"Karmessa Williams?" I heard
Her family and I jumped up at the same time, the doctor sighed.
"I'm so sorry. We tried everything to bring her back. She was in the state of shock that's why her heart rate went to a flat line. " he said
Her mother broke down crying in her brother's arms.
"I'm so sorry it's my fault" i said habging my head low
"Deshun, it's not your fault son. You didn't know what was going to happen. I guess this was God telling us it was her time. " Her mother said wiping her tears.
"Are you going yo get custody of my son?" I asked
She thought for a few minutes then spoke
"I want you to take care of your own child. You're grown enough to handle a child, I just want to see him also. I don't want you to keep my grandson away from me" she said
I smiled and hugged her tightly. A nurse came our way with my son. I took him from her and craddle him in my arms.
"Emmanuel Kareem Willams-Johnson" i said
"I like that" Karmessa mom said while rubbing my shoulder
"Shun, give me your keys. The kids are hungry and sleepy" Destiny said
"It's in my pocket. Bro don't wreck my car." I said
Destiny have taught herself how to do many things with one arm and it's very fascinating .
"I know I know. Do you want me to bring you something?" She asked
"No I'm fine"
"I'm so sorry Mrs.Williams. I loved Messa likr my own aunt. " Destiny said hugging her then she gave Karmessa brother a hug.

I walked into Starr's hospital room with Emmanuel in my arms. I sat down in the chair that was beside Starr's bed.
"Hey baby. How are you?" I asked
"Well I have really bad news and also ood news. Well the good news my baby boy is finally here. Emmanuel Kareem Williams-Johnson. He looks just like me." I said while chuckling
I pause for a moment to adjust Emmanuel in my arms.
"What's the bad news?" I heard
I swear I almost dropped Emmanuel when I heard Starr's voice.
I looked into her eyes and smiled. I stood up and kissed her lips, surprisingly she kissed back.
I pulled away and sat back down.
"He's adorable " Starr said reaching up for him
I helped her sit up and gave her Emmanuel.
"So what's the bad news?" She asked
"Messa passed away a few hours ago" i mumbled
"Excuse me" she said as her voice begin to crack
"She was in the state of shock and her heart rate went to a flat line" i said
I looked up and seen tears roll down her face.
I sat on the edge of her bed and wiped her tears.
"I know it hurts baby, Imma miss her too. " I admitted
She nodded while years continue to fall.
"Her mother will give us the information about the funeral later this week" I said caressing her cheek.
She nodded her head and sat in silence.
"By the way I know you have your own business. I helped finish it up and it's actually going great. I helped with the financial issues and also build the place on my free time. " I said making her smile
"Also, I met you're bestfriend... Luther... He's cool people, he came to my house wandering why you haven't been returning his calls. At first I thought he was your boyfriend but he told me he was gay."
"Wait a minute! " Starr said while laughing
"He never told me he was gay!" she said while adjusting Emmanuel
"Yup ole dude gay asf, he also helped with your business. Oh yeah, I officially quit the game....... " I said
"I swear if you lying Shun I'm going to cut your balls off" she said
"I put this on everything. I promised you that I'll change for you and my kids and set a good example for my children " I said
We stayed up all night talking and laughing, reminiscing things in our past. I really missed Starr and I plan on NOT losing her again.
