He grabbed his jacket as fast as he could, shoved his phone in his pocket and ran out. His father called for him but he was on a mission. Bokuto ran as fast as he could.
What if they were hurt? What if there was someone trying to take them? What if, what if, what if ran through his thoughts like an endless train.
Bokuto huffed and puffed as sweat dripped down his forehead. Park entrance, just ahead. Perfect. He slowed down to a walk.
'I'm coming. Don’t worry, Y/N.'
He thought. He climbed the hill, only to see a body. He stepped back in shock.
"Y-y/n....?"
His voice grew quiet. Tears came to his eyes. Were...were they...? No. They can't be. No. He took a deep breath and looked down to their chest. He watched for a few heartbeats. Bokuto sighed in relief at the rise and fall of a breath leaving their body, a sign that they're alive.
He picked you up carefully, as to not wake you. He gave you his hoodie to hold onto as he walked back to his house.
"Koutoru! Where did you....go..."
His father trailed off as his only son held a sleeping girl in his arms.
"Koutoru...who's this?"
His mother asked quietly, being more respectful than his father, who now had a curious scowl on his face.
"This is Y/N..."
"Y/N..?"
His parents repeated. His father scoffed and smiled softly.
"Where'd she get so knocked up from?"
"Hiro!!"
Bokuto's mother slapped her husband's bicep.
"She hasn't told me yet...i found her passed out in the park after she called me."
"I'll set up the couch and-"
"No. She'll take my bed. I'll sleep on the couch. Or on the floor. Make sure she doesn't freak out."
Bokuto's mother looked at her husband with a soft smile. Hiro Bokuto rolled his eyes at his wife.
"Fine. No funny business."
Bokuto smiled in thanks and kissed his mother's forehead, before walking to his room.
He laid the sleeping girl on his bed. Kneeling down, he watched as her chest rose and fell in the rhythm of steady breathing. He brushed a strand of her H/C hair out of her face.
He sat. Watching. Unmoving. Still. Be was taking in and observing every feature on her. From the way her hair shimmered in certain lights to how she would scrunch her nose every now and then.
He ending up falling asleep on his knees. Leaning against the bed with his hand in hers.
~Timeskip to morning because I dont want this chapter to be extremely short~
You furrowed your eyebrows as the sun hit them violently. You sit up and rub your eyes. This...this wasn't your room. Or Keiji's...where..? You looked down to your side and saw a sleeping Bokuto.
A soft smile tugged at your lips.
'So he did come get me...and to think Akaashi was having doubts.' You thought.
You reached out and shook his shoulder, slightly whispering his name.
"Eh...? Whaaaat...?"
He looked up at you, drool still hanging from the corner of his mouth. He immediately straightened up and whiped it off when he saw you.
"Y/N! You're awake! Did you sleep well? Are you okay?!"
You only giggled slightly before patting his head.
"I'm fine, Bokuto. Thank you for getting me."
He let out a soft sigh before standing up. You watched him as he climbed on top of you and hugged you tightly.
"I just wanted you to be safe."
He whispers in your ear, tickling you with his warm breath.
You wrap your arms around him as you lay back down. The two of you sit, holding each other, in comfortable silence.
Was this a dream? A Fantasy? Are you really getting affection like this? Whatever if was, you weren't going to let it go anytime soon. It would be awkward with Akaashi but with happiness comes sacrifices.
Bokuto seemed to have fallen back asleep. You chuckle softly as to not wake him and try to go back to sleep yourself.
