Everyone is staring at me. I dont understand, did i say something wrong?
"Awe you guys okay?" I asked out of pure confusion
"Kurapika, do you really not remember killua?" Gon asked, tears forming in his eyes.
"No, awe you suwe i met them? And who's that?" I asked pointing at an unfamiliar kid sitting on gon's lap.
"IM KILLUA! I- I'm... i thought i w-was youw'e f-fwiend kuwapika...." he responded, tears streaming down his pale cheeks.
"Im sowwy, i dont wemembew meeting you. When exactly did we meet?" I asked trying to calm the young boy down.
"You two met at the hunter exam, at the beginning of the first task! We all met killua then!" Gon tried to remind me of the albino, which didn't seem to work, as i had no memory of meeting anyone besides leorio and gon.
"Is there anyone else i should wemembew?" I asked, worried that i would forget someone else important to me.
"Well who do you remember?" Leorio asked me, he also seemed to be worried i would forget him, or gon.
"I mainly wemembew leowio, gon, and i wemembew... the kuwtas.. a-and how t-they..." i said, trying my best to hold back tears, but ultimately failing and ending up bawling into leorio's sleeve, who picked me up and tried to comfort me.
"I think the two of us should get going." Leorio said, picking me up and heading to the door. "If this isn't solved by the morning, we'll call you, and we can meet up earlier than planned." Leorio said just before opening the door, and saying goodbye to the two.
"Goodbye gon, k-killua? Is that wight?" I asked, earning a nod from the white haired child.
• • about 6pm now • •
"We haven't eaten yet" leorio said watching the clock. "Anywhere you want to go for dinner?"
I thought for a minute before deciding.
"I actually dont want a fancy meal..." i replied feeling a blush creep onto my cheeks.
"Oh? Do you have something in mind?"
I hesitated before finally saying "can... can we get dino nuggets?"
'RAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH WHYYYYYY?!?? HE PROBABLY THINKS I WAS ALWAYS CHILDISH LIKE THISSSS UGHHHHHH!!!! It is my favorite food though... maybe he likes it too?'
"Of course! Im actually kind of happy you dont want anything expensive" leorio said both laughing and rubbing the nape of his neck.
Oh thank the good lord!
"Is it okay if i just run out to the store to grab your dino nuggets? Right! And do you want ketchup, or something?" Leorio asked turning arround to face me.
"Yeah, i'll be fine just hewe, and yes to the ketchup please!" I said as he nodded and walked out the door leaving me to flop on the bed and drown in an indescribable emptiness. (A/n i hate myself)

~Leorio POV~
'He's so cute!!! Wait. He's my friend and im... actually im probably not fully straight... Do i have a crush on kurapika?'
"You okay leowio?" I turned my head over to the voice that shook me out of my daze.
"Oh, yeah! Im fine!" I said, feeling blood rush to my cheeks, immediately forcing me to look away.
'I cant live with this!!!' "I don't deserve to be friends with such an angel" i said. Wait. I. Said. That. Out. Loud. I slapped a hand across my mouth right after noticing what i'd said.
I looked behind me after a while to find a stunned mini kurta. He did hear that. 'Well, there goes another friend.'
I start to walk away, only to feel kurapika tugging on my shirt for me to stay. I turn arround to see that his surprise has morphed into a soft smile. "You weally think so?" He asked, just before jumping into my chest to give me as big a hug as his tiny arms would let him, which obviously wasn't very big at all.
After finally realizing what was happening and that kurapika would fall if i didn't return the hug, i immediately wrapped my arms arround his tiny waist and back, keeping him from falling onto the ground. 'He's so cuuuuttteee!!!!!! Okay, i deffinatly like him. No more denying it.'
"We should probably go to bed soon. You must be exhausted from chassing that little spider all over earlier, and im sure your microscopic legs don't help keep your energy" i joked walking him over and setting him down on the edge of the bed.
"Heyyy! They'we not that small" kurapika replied frowning, and swinging his feet over the edge of the bed.
I started to change into pajamas, completley forgetting that kurapika was with me, so i jumped a little when i felt a tug on the hem of my shirt. Kurapika was looking away, as i had not put any pants on yet. I quickly yanked them on, and turned arround tapping the mini kurta's shoulder to be met with a pair of the most beautiful brown eyes.
"Umm, kurapika? Did, you need something? NOT TO BE RUDE, I MEAN I- JUST- YOu tried to get my attention earlier and i-" "calm down leowio. Im fine, i just... i need help changing... youw clothes awe way too big fow me." He replied, with a flushed face.
"Oh! Of course i can help!" I said walking over to pull off my shirt that i let him borrow, and replace it with his pajama shirt. We both got into bed after i turned off the lights, but this time kurapika was first to move. He snuggled right into my chest, shivering as if he were about to freeze into an icecube right there and then.
Naturally, i enveloped him in my seemingly long arms to pull him closer, if that was even possible.
In a daze, my last words to him that night were "goodnight pika" before i slipped into a deep sleep. ______________________________________
