I BELIEVE IN YOU | Draco Malfoy Pt. 1

Draco Malfoy and Y/N L/N have been dating since their 4th year, they're known as 'The Best Couple' in Hogwarts, you'll never see them apart, only when Y/N is with her friends—Harry Potter, Hermione Granger & Ronald Weasley. But something went horribly wrong in their 6th year. Draco didn't talk to Y/N anymore, only giving her a quick flash of a smile or a glance. People thought they were no longer together.

Y/N grasps her books tightly, ignoring the stares and whispers around her as she walks. She turns the corner, when she accidentally knocked down a person in front of her.

"Watch where you're going!" yelled Y/N, she looked down to see Draco. "Draco?"

"Oh, Y/N." He looked up at her, Y/N noticed under his eyes were dark circles and he looked very pale, paler than before. "I need to go."
He quickly said.

"Draco, wait!" Y/N grabbed his wrist and looked at him, Draco stops and lifts a brow. "Why have you been avoiding me?"

"What do you mean?"

"Oh, don't play dumb." scoffed Y/N. "You're not the same as before, you've been avoiding me. You don't talk to me anymore and-you've not been the same. Tell me what's wrong!" .

Draco looked down at her, his face twisted in a scowl. "You're what's wrong. I don't want to talk to you anymore, we're done. Goodbye, Y/N." He said, he yanks his hand off hers and walks away quickly, looking pained and sad.

Draco didn't see Y/N's pained look. He had to do this, its the only way to protect her. Tears started to form in her eyes, she wipes it and continued to walk away. But tears were still threatening to fall. Instead of going to class, she ran into Moaning Myrtle's bathroom. She opened the door to one of the stalls and a sob escaped her lips. She continued to sob, her heart breaking even more when she thinks of it.
