because i've been gone so long wattpad is kinda out of style and no one actually sees these anymore
but where else am i supposed to write out what i'm thinking and feel like people are listening?

aCtually wOrking on the first short story for This is for Random Short Stories
[TifRSS?? i don't like that either, it's as bad as TifRT]
and i hAve been

neither can i
this used to be such a major problem
i'd say one thing and then nEver actually dO it
but
there's a difference
because i'm enjOying the process??
i never used to think much about the plot befOre writing, which is low key kinda stupid because then you realize really far in that your story doesn't make sense or events could have been made sO much better and could've connEcted to things and--
yeah
so i think it's been going pretty well
i've never written a story that takes place so long ago either
i've gone back far enough that phones weren't fully developed and as huge as they are now before
and i've written a story in which it wouldn't make sense for the characters to have phones but they existed
but never have i ever had to replace cars with hOrses
so
new territory for me
but that's what writing [or anything else for that matter] is all about
getting out of your comfort zone
i think the purpose of this update was to tell you some basic background on the short story i'm working on
1. it probably shouldn't be referred to as a short story
it might go on for a while..
2. i don't have a name for it yet
so the updates will be named by number
and when i think of a title i'll replace the numbers with the title and thEn its number
3. here are the characters i've got; i can give you their name and a little bit about their personality but nothing else because i'm pretty sure the reader is supposed to figure these things out by themselves
main-os:
adrian
- he's the main-main character
- he is also a rOyal [he's the pRinCe]
- he's kind of stubborn, persistent, impulsive, that sort of thing
ivan
- he's the second main-main
- he happens to be a KniGhT [like, the most highly regarded one]
- and aLso he happened to grow uP with adrian and the two are business partners but also buddies
- he's loyal, cOurAgeOUs, protective, etc
not vEry main-os but kInd of:
qUeEn gRAce
- t-the qUeeN--
- therefore adrian's mother
- she's nice, kind, kind of in a state of distress rn, but we don't get into that at this very moment
alex[ander] [nickname alex full name alexander there is no "ander" nickname]
- ivan's tiny itty bitty little baby brother! [but he's not thAt smol, maybe like in his tEeN years]
- he wants to follow in his brother's footsteps and be some great cool amazing knight but he's too tiny rn [that doesn't stop him from practicing using his mom's kitchen knives though]
- i really don't have anything about alex rn, he's not around for most of the story..
ze kInG
- as i said with the queen, "ze king" hints to the fact that this is indeed the king
- and therefore he is aLso adrian's father
- .. well there's sOmething about him that's sort of really important but i'll let the reader figure this one out instead of saying it here.. it shouldn't be too hard i'll prolly just say it flatly at some point.. but still >:)
damien [i used to have a friend named damien.. idk]
- the king's advisor [i never knew advisOr could also be spelled advisEr, so there's a random fact]
- he's not adrian's frIend but they're close
- really comforting?? like he can calm someone down easy
