Its morning, light from the outside creeping into your slightly closed eyes, you awake to the smell of something, salty?
"Wakey, wakey, you three!" you're startled awake by a unfamiliar voice.
"Rise and shine!" she exclaimed again, opening the windows to let in some breeze, you look around you, you're still inside the ship, Scaffold, Brock, and Blamek are waking up, Scaffold stretches, Blamek rubs his eyes confused, and Brock is startled awake.
"*yawn* What's the big deal?" Blamek asks, he then opens his eyes to see what was the big deal, you also look more clearly at the figure standing before you.
She was wearing a small, fluffy, yellow dress, with a large bow at the bust, she had dark, short, hair, you then notice her oddly large, purple eyes, she also has a sweet innocent smile, and antennae?
"Oh, heh, Yumi, it's you..." Brock said, "She's my second cousin." he explained blankly.
"His hot second cousin that is..." Blamek commented,
"Simp." Scaffold replied mockingly, Blamek looked shocked.
"Yeah, hi I'm Yumi!" Yumi said enthusiastically,
"I'm part snail, so dont be so suprised of the atennae, shell, and well, snails." she explained, you then notice the abundance of snails surrounding you and the one snail hovering above her shoulder.
"She's a species of fairy." Scaffold stated, Yumi nodded in agreement.
"Well, uh I guess we should get going and continue our tour, uh Hâiyáng right?" Brock asked,
"Yes correct." Scaffold replied, "And, uh, Yumi, I suppose you can tag along too."
You all clean up the ship of the clutter and the sleeping bags so that you guys can head out,
"So, Yumi, what were you doing before you came here?" Brock asked as he put the pillows back onto their shelves
"Well, it was another peaceful day in my village when I was using my eyes-" Scaffold inturrupted
"You see, Yumi has other set of eyes, she can see through the eyes of other snails near her perimeter, or in her perimeter, she can also summon snails of light to fight for her."
Yumi continued,
"Yes, anyway, I was using my other eyes because something felt unsettling, so I went outside my mushroom house and started feeling the ground shaking, which was pretty normal because sometimes a Wyrm would be passing by, underground that is," a snail starts crawling up your arm as Yumi pauses, it had a yellow body and a light pink shell.
"But, this felt, how do I say- different? So I look through the eyes of some snail wyrms, that might be underground, and what I see is just, horrible!"
She pauses again, and this time even more snails start sludging towards you, some are white and light green, purple and light orange, and even some pearlescent ones.
"There were smashed shells, and dead snails everywhere, and the snail's eyes of which I was looking through turns around, and what I saw was just, a black mass, with red, purple, and blue highlight, but it had no shape, it had eyes, just white empty eyes, but before I could take a closer look at it, it killed the snail I was looking through,"
She pause again, you look down on your body and just see a bunch of snail cuddling with you, Yumi then continues again,
"I then get out my shell to protect me, because I felt that the shaking was more intense, I then see that, thing fly out of the ground, but I wasn't going to let away."
She pauses and looks at her snails with love,
"With much force I slowed down the creature, but it noticed that I was slowing it down, which is really odd because usually when I slow down creature they don't notice."
You notice how much she pauses, but then you realize it's most likely because she's a little slow.
"The creature turned to face me, it's eyes were pure white in the pool of darkness, with colors of blue, red, purple, and yellow showing through," Scaffold looks puzzled as she describes the creature.
"I couldn't let it get away now, so I swiftly turn into a snail for a moment, so that he doesn't notice me, but then I remember, it targets snails, so I turn back into, well, my usual self, and I get out my shell and my harpoon gun, I aim, the creature doesn't move, I take a deep breath, the creature doesn't move, and I shoot, the creature doesn't move an inch, my harpoon goes right through the creature, but the creature doesn't even flinch for a second, and before I knew it, the creature had disappeared, and my harpoon fell straight to the ground, and sadly it had hit a fawn, and the fawn perished..." Yumi teared up as the mentioned the poor fawn,
"So I've been meditating to keep my mind off of what happened, and I guess my senses led me here."
She ends her story there and proceeds to turn and look at you, you her face grow pale as she closes her eyes, you wait a couple seconds, she opens her eyes and gasps, she speeds towards you and starts feeling your left leg, all the way down to your ankle,
"Oh no..." Yumi exclaims silently.
Scaffold, Brock, and Blamek look worried and confused,
"What?" Blamek asks, Yumi turns her head towards you,
"You've been cursed..."
