CAMERON'S POV

I smiled and said, "Cameron".

She broke the eye contact and turned her head to look out the windows. I kept on looking at her, she doesn't have any make up on, her hair was up in a messy pony tail and it was naturally straight. Her eyebrows are neat and she had quite long eyelashes. Her eyes are my colour, hazel brown and so is her hair. I don't know why, but I just can't stop myself from staring at her eyes, they are so... attractive. She has that beauty that was different from most of the girls I've ever met, it was a natural, effortless beauty.

"So what are you going to LA...", she turned to me and caught me staring, "...for?"

I turned around immediately, my heart was beating so fast and loud I could almost feel my chest moving with the heart beats. I scratched the back of my neck as the hotness from my back begin rise up to my cheeks, "Um, I came to visit my grandparents, and now I'm going back to my home, which is LA".

"You live there?", her eyes widened.

I waited a few seconds on purpose just to look at her suprised face. She blinked a couple of times. "Yeah", I shrugged.

"You're so lucky", she sighed and rested her back on the seat, closing her eyes.

"Why?"

"I've always wanted to live there, you must have seen a lot of cebrities", she turned back and looked straight at me, "have you?"

Why can't I focus? I thought to myself. I kept getting distracted, and all I wanted to do was stare at her for a very, very long time.

"Oi!", she yelled quietly.

"Oh um, yeah guess", I said nervously.

She sighed again and frowned.

"Are you jealous?", I smirked.

"Of course", she laughed, "idiot".

Idiot. The way she said it, made my heart drop one more time. I don't usually get these feels, except for the first times I stepped on stage and spoke to the crowd on my first world tour, or my first interviews on TV live. I turned to her and said the very first thing that popped into my head.

"Do you believe in love at first sight?"

She gazed at me, her lips are a bit apart, she took a moment, and said, "I do now".

I frozed while my eyeballs were staring into hers and they kept moving from her left eye into her right eye in repeat. Until she laughed and turned back to the mini TV, "I'm joking silly".

I let out the silent sigh.

"I kind of can't like anyone now actually"

I looked at her with a surprised but confused look. As I was about to ask why. She continued.

"I'm about to die, Cameron, I'm on the last stage of cancer", she whispered, "last stage".

I was again shocked as she slowly pulled the words last stage. A tear slid out of her eyes and she wiped it quickly, trying to hold it in, but no longer later she burried her face into her hands and cried quietly. My heart hurts, it felt like it had been broken into a million pieces. I didn't know what else to do but leaned over and rested her head on my chest and wrapped my arms around her.

"No-one's gonna like a cancer patient like me, Cameron, no-one wants to love a girl who is dying in three months", she whispered. And I could feel the pain from her heart, transferring to mine, attacking it over and over. I gently patted her back and didn't say a word, and she eventually fell as sleep in my arms the whole way on the plane.

I stayed with her the whole time we were waiting for our luggages. We didn't speak at all, except for when I woke her up when the plane was landing or when she asked me where to collect our stuff. My little suitcase came out first, fortunately, because if hers came out first, she would leave, I walked over to get it and waited for her. After a while hers comes out, she collected it and looked up at me.

"I'll see you later", she said, still not smiling, and turned away.

I reached out an arm to hold her back but I just couldn't, I was just a stranger she met on the plane.

I followed her out of the airport, it was kind of my way anyways. She kept walking straight, heading to the other side of the road.

"Jessie!", I yelled out as she was about to step on the road when there was a taxi driving up.

I ran up to her and hugged her from behind. She started to cry, and collapsed onto the ground. I bent one knee, lifted her head up with my hand and looked straight at her.

"I'm sorry", she kept on crying.

I let go of her face and wrapped my arms around her again, I gently pushed her head on my shoulder and let her cry on it for a while, ignoring the people walking pass staring at us. I led to the bench and sat her down, I sat next to her, "are you hungry?", I asked.

She nodded. I bought us some lunch and drinks from the closest coffee shop and sat back down. She was calmed now and smiled to me, "Thank you, Cameron."

I blushed and scratched the back of my neck again, "Why do you keep saying my name", I smiled.

"Why not?", she giggled.

"Because... it gives me butterflies"
