Chapter 14

She ran up to me as soon as she saw me.

"Hey! Where have you been?", she asked.

"Sorry, I went home to get my Starbucks member card, but I fell asleep", I scratched the back of my neck.

What the heck was that, I suck at excuses. But she still smiled, without asking anything else, "You're an idiot".

I guess that's a thing about love, trust. I should be glad that she trusts me, but instead it hurts, because it makes it harder for me to let go.

We gave the limo back and caught a cab back to the hotel.

Jess faced planted the soft bed as she fall freely onto it, "I'm so tired", she mumbled through the pillow.

"Hey um, Nash said he wanted to talk, I'll be back later", I said to her.

She flipped back and looked at me, "Okay", she smiled.

I bent down and kissed her then she wrapped her arms and legs around me and frowned as I shake my head no. "Goodnight", I said turning the light off and walked out.

"WHAT?", Nash yelled over the silence of the night, "Please tell me you're joking".

I shook my head looking down from the balcony.

"No way, this bullshit, nope", he kept on going.

"Nash, I need you to help me"

He wiped his face with his dry hands and sighed, "What is it?"

"Please don't tell Jessie"

A few seconds of silence and I heard his sighed quietly, then he walked away.

I pulled my phone out and scrolled through my contact. Mahogany! Yes.

M: Hello?

C: It's Cam.

M: Duh? I saved your number bro. What you need?

C: I need your help.

NARRATOR

An alarm clock beeping waking Jess up from her deep sleep.

"Who set this alarm on?", she mumbled to herself and looked around the room to find Cameron, it was empty.

She went for a shower and got dressed.

Babe where are you? - Jess texted Cameron and brushed her hair. After she finished she checked the phone again, no reply from him. She texted Nash and asked where Cameron was.

He's down here, come eat breakfast - Nash replied. She walked out and went in the elevator, she pressed the button and smiled to the people in there. The elevator stops and she stepped out but stood there silently as the door closes behind her. Cameron noticed a shadow and looked up, letting go of Mahogany's waist and unlocking their lips.

The hallway stayed silence as the three speechlessly stood there. Two hearts are breaking as their eyes looked straight through each other's, but her vision started to blur up as the tears surrounded her pupil. Jess placed her hand on her chest and pressed it against her aching heart.

"Ouch", she murmured.

Cameron manage to speak, "I-"

"What the fuck?", she asked, looking straight through his eyes with anger, but her tears seemed to be dried up.

"I'm sorry", he said looking down at the ground, and looked up instantly as he hears Jess letting out a laugh.

"This joke isn't funny Cameron", she stepped a step closer to him, "I know you planned all this up"

Cameron froze in shock as she grabbed his wrist and turned around to walk to the dining room. How did she know? Why does she believe in him so much?

He stopped and pulled his wrist back making her stumble and turned around to face him.

"Stop", he said and sighed, "We should break up"

She raised an eyebrow, "I know there's something wrong Cameron, and you should tell me"

"No. There's no reason I am breaking up with you right now apart from I don't want to be in a relationship with you anymore", he pointed directly at her, "I- I used you Jess"

She let go of his wrist. "I used you because I thought you were on the last stage of cancer. I used you because everyone will love me, because they think I am brave enough to love someone who I knew was dying. I used you for the benefits you bring me, I used you for sex", he clenched his teeth, toughening himself, "because three months means no strings atta-"

His face turned to the side as his cheek stung from the mark of her hand smacking across his face, "Enough", she spat quietly and walked away to the elevator.

"CAMERON!", Mahogany yelled and Jess immediately turned back. Cameron was on the ground holding his head.

"I knew it", she whispered to herself as she ran quickly to him. Nash appeared out of nowhere and told her to call 911. (Throw back to tin Cam Dallas)

A/N: Omg I have no words for this chapter i am sorry it's so bad smh but I just can't. like literally I can't. And it's short as too. And I din't even read it through so um yeah.
