MC .POV.
We continued down the beach for a few days and nights not setting foot into the forrest at all, the elf only used what they had collected int the forrest while they stayed with me and I took this opportunity to try something I wasn't able to before FISH! Im going to try catch some fish lucky mother taught me how to swim, blue and white were exited to try fish also so they helped me catch some and in the end we caught some pretty strange fish, we caught one that tasted like tuna and a really small one that I left to blue and white and a really big one that was the size of my head the elf seemed scared of that one I guess its the equivalent of a shark.
After that we stayed at an area with lots of black rocks and broken shells being washed up onto the shore, the elf set up a small camp onto of one of the more flat rock out of reach of the water and white pointed out a perfect spot for me to sleep it was a larger than the place the elf chose but it was closer to the water and at high tide the water would just barely reach the top wetting my fur which I don't mind, white seems to enjoy swimming and the feeling of water on his fur so he climbed down from my back and slept in-between my front legs on the rock letting his fur soak in the salty ocean water.
The elf have been acting weird for a while now all giddy and exited elf are very strange I could only look on in confusion while they did strange dances, I thought no more of it and laid my head down blue and white were already asleep so I should sleep too.
~the next morning~
I awoke to a loud BANG and shot up blue and white were also startled awake and all three of us frantically looked around for the source of the sound, my ear ring jingling each time I violently turned my head and swirled my ears.
'Wait when did that happen?'
Last time I checked my earring was just a ring in my ear but now it has two gems dangling from it one black and one red, the black one hanging below the red one which was just below the ring and there was nothing holding each of the gems like a sting or something but there was nothing they were just floating there, never mind that what is going on?
Last night when I went to sleep there was only eight elf but now there's hundreds! Well hundreds is a bit of a stretch but I'm not exaggerating when I say there are a lot of elf here now and it looks like there having a feast or a party they must have gathered overnight, the younger girl elf I saved walked over to us and picked up white patting him while saying something before putting him up to my leg so he could climb up onto my back with blue I lowered my head to let her pat my nose, she's still talking but I have no idea what she's saying I also noticed some of the other elf looking at us with a scared look in their eyes as they sipped on what I'm going to assume is berry juice in a wooden cup and they all kept their distance.
I didn't have much time to gather my thoughts before the sound of a horn rang in my ears and all of the elf who were happily chatting away until now were silent and looking in the direction of the sound, an older looking elf stood there with a beast horn in his hand he then started talking in a very loud voice addressing all the others elf, I only understood parts of what he said but I did learn some new words.
"What are they doing?"
"are they gathering for a hunt?"
Blue and white couldn't understand any of what he was saying so I gave them the gist of it.
"They are gathering and getting ready to go back home I think"
They both looked at me still confused, if I want them to understand I'm going to have to put it into magical beast terms.
"They are getting together to go home together after a hunt"
It clicked in their heads.
""Oooooh""
They said in unison as one of the boys started chasing the girl by my side with a very large bug, they ran three laps around me before the girl decided to climb up my back and sit with blue and white and the boy was to afraid to climb after her I wouldn't have attacked him but he doesn't know that so he quietly left the girl alone.
The other elf started walking further down the beach and the girl on my back panicked then pointed at the moving group and said one word I do know.
"follow"
