CH11. annoying puppy

MC .POV.

Its been quite awhile since I last saw those elf and I haven't seen them again, I wish they would I want to know more about them other than that I encountered some beast kin earlier this week but mother said not to interact with them so i didn't.

my snake friend has grown considerably and can now wrap himself around my torso twice and he doesn't leave my side often or back to be more specific and mother has allowed him to sleep in the burrow with us, talking about size I'm almost as big as mother I'm just a few hairs off.

Aside from my snake friend I now have a new friend an albino weasel, he just showed up one day and sat on my back with the glasses wearing snake, he docent talk much but from what I have gathered he saw me in the flower field with the elf and thought I was really cool, he then followed me back and hasn't left I don't really mind except for the fact that I now have to carry both of them around on my back, they even sleep on my back.

Mother has someplace to take me and my siblings today she hasn't told us where we are going but I have a feeling I know, she had told us about this before, a gathering place of foxes, with my friends on my back, we walked for a while crossed the river using an old fallen tree and walked some more, the we came to a clearing I have never been to before.

There were so many other foxes here, it looks like every fox in the dungeon was here and they were divided into three parts, on the right were older males in the middle looked like younger males and females and on the left were older females surrounded by younger males and females, probably their kits, mother lead us to the left to sit with the other kits.

I got a few strange looks from others I don't blame them I do have a snake and weasel on my back, I sat next to mother in a respectful manner and my siblings copied me, we weren't sitting down for long before a young and obviously spoilt kit waltz up to me looked me up and down then said.

"And what are you doing here?"

I lifted my head a bit higher closed my eyes and simply turned the other way proud but angry and huffed at him.

*humph*

"What! Answer me!"

He was visibly fuming but whenever he tried to get in my face again I turned the other way.

"What's with your fur? Why's it got red on it? And your eyes, they're disgusting"

He spat every insult he could think of at me trying to get under my skin, it didn't work on me but it sure as hell did work of the rest of my family and every other fox here had caught wind of what was happening, but no one stood in because they wanted to know how I would deal with it, I wasn't thinking of doing anything about it thought just waiting until he got bored and left but he went to far.

"You don't even look like your moms kit are you sure she didn't steal you from someone else?"

That was it I'm fine with you insulting me but never insult my mother, I looked him dead in they eye, faced both my ears towards him, leaned over him using my hight to my advantage, and smiled, not your average fox smile I mean like a Cheshire Cat smile, every one went silent even my siblings were shocked, I could tell I scared a lot of foxes and a lot of kits were now hiding behind their mothers, but I didn't pay any attention to them my focus was on the bratty fox in front of me who was now cowering with his tail between his legs still trying to act brave.

"And w-w-what am I s- supposed to be a-a-afraid of you?"

I snickered which made me all the more scary.

"Oh no no no, I'm not trying to scare anyone, I'm just trying to figure out where this puppy dog came from, does he belong to anyone?"

"Im not a dog! I'm a fox!"

"Your not fooling any one little doggy, now scurry on home before you annoy some one stronger than you"

I turned my head to face mother who was still angry at the brat and she gave him a very angry growl, and the little puppy fox ran off, and all the foxes around me thanked me for taking care of that annoying kit and everyone relaxed when I stopped smiling, which I held throughout my conversation with him.

"You should have done something sooner brother!"

My siblings seemed upset even my friends agreed with them, I never answered their question and changed the subject.

"Anyways, why are we here mother?"

Mother sighed and calmed down then began explaining why we were here.
