Chapter XII

I am now walking here in the park which is still part of the school.

People are looking at me again.

And they're obviously talking about me, because as they talking their eyes are staring at me.

I am not with cait and chan.

Since it's sunday, it's rest day and I don't want them to be disturbed.

Kaunti lang naman ang mga istudyante ngayon kumpara nung isang araw.

Umupo ako isa sa mga bench na andito na medyo malayo sa mga studyante.

I closed my eyes and felt the fresh air.

Ang sarap sa pakiramdam new place, new home, new friends and new life.

I opened my eyes as I felt the presence of someone who sat next to me.

I looked at --- him.

He smiled at me. I knew this guy, his named was Darius.

Sa dami ng upuang bakante, sakin niya pa naisipang tumabi.

I just ignore him.

Later on he poke my shoulder.

"Yes? Do you need something?" I asked directly.

"Yes, I need you." he replied.

I frown. Tama ba narinig ko?

I was surprised when he suddenly laugh.

Baliw ba to.

"Look at your face! Haha! Im just kidding! Gusto ko lang sana makipag kaibigan. Haha!" sabi niya.

Hindi ko alam kung anong isasagot.

Does he really want a friend? Akala ko ba sikat siya, I'm sure a lot of students want to be friends with him but now he wants me to be his friend?

I know he needs something, kahit na parang may saltik to.

"What do you want?" I asked again.

"Hindi ko alam na masungit ka pala haha. By the way I'm Darius the most cute in the entire campus." he said and held his hand upang makipag shake hand.

"Am I? I'm feline." I answered at tinanggap ang kamay niya.

"I'm just confused. Is there something wrong to ask?" I added.

Tumawa siyang muli.

"Haha! Pasensiya na. Gusto ko lang talaga maging kaibigan ka since na cute ka rin haha!" sabay ngiti ng maloko.

"Talaga ba. So you need to talk with chan right? I guess that's what you want." tanong ko ulit sakanya.

"Woah, how did you know? Hindi ka naman mind reader diba?" birong sabi nito.

"I know about your friendship and it seems complicated." simpleng sagot ko.

"Yup, komplikado talaga. Komplikado pa sa relasyon natin. Haha, Chan and I are used to be best buddy way back in mid grade. When I took high grade we separated dahil magkaiba ang building ng mid at high grade. Mailap nalang kami magusap hanggang sa nag high grade na siya. I thought that we can finally be with her but all of the sudden she keep on ignoring us like we're strangers. She even blocked my account and phone number so I can no longer talk with her kahit through phone call or social media man lang, diba? Ang isang cute na katulad ko na iniiwasan." he explained.

Hindi ko alam kung anong iisipin sa taong to. I don't know if he really mean it or just fooling around with his words.

"You guys really need to talk, so you can fix the misunderstanding." sabi ko.
