Sam POV
After giving me a kiss that nearly ended my life Jake pulls my lip with his teeth.
"It's Daddy," he says before turning around and leaving me in a flustered state.
What the heck was that? This man will be the death of me. I am calling it now: Cause of Death, Jake Ferrari. He can't just say stuff like that or kiss me like that, it is not allowed.
I stomp my way downstairs only to be greeted by a smiling Myra and a giddy Jonas. He has been so excited all weekend that his "aunt" is living with him. This damn kid. I kiss him on the head and exchange good mornings with the Ferrari's while completely ignoring Jake. I don't know why I am mad at him but I feel all angry and wound up. So, he gets the cold shoulder.
"Tea for you my queen," he chuckles as he sets a mug in front of me with a tea that he refuses to tell me how he makes. He first made it for me in the Mansion and refused to tell me all that is in it. He says that he likes to keep me reliant on him to make sure that I have more of a reason to need him. This bastard.
"If you have any problems at school you tell me. After going through Bailey's phone I know that those mean girls are going to bother you. Also, they seem hell bent on keeping you out of cheer. I think you should join just to spite them. If they bother you too much tell me," Rob adds with a wink. Why can't Ethan be this kind of caring?
"Like father like son," Myra chuckles before pecking him on the lips.
"She is a great dancer. She really blew us all away at Kyle's house," Jake added with a wink. I nearly choke to death on my tea. He did not need to bring that up.
"I want to see her dance," Jonas begs. "Please SamSam," he begs.
I just glare at Jake. Silently telling him this is his god damn fault.
"You can see her when she joins the cheer team and cheers for your uncle at my football games," Jake offers.
He is saved by the doorbell and whoever the maid let in.
"Hi Sammy banana. You going to school today? Please take it easy," my dad says as he enters the kitchen.
"Hi dad, what are you doing here? You look handsome," I hug him tight before grabbing my backpack.
"We are meeting with some clients today," Rob explains. I give my dad and Rob a kiss on the cheek and hug Myra goodbye before giving Jonas kisses all over his face. Then I grab the keys to the rover that Jake insisted is mine and hop in the driver seat locking the doors. Jake is close behind me and bangs on my window when he notices its locked.
"What do you think you are doing baby? I drive," he argues.
"I agree. You drive. Yourself."
"What has you all mad. Did I not give you enough kisses this morning," he asks seriously.
This man child. I decide to ignore him and roll up the window. I shift it in drive and give him a few seconds to back away. I can tell that he doesn't believe me. Oh no, he will learn not to doubt me. I am a petty queen. I slowly let the car roll away and he jumps back before shouting at me to stop the car. I blow him a kiss and drive away to school.
When I park the car I notice everyone is looking at me. Probably because I just arrived back from missing for over 3 weeks. Or maybe it is the fact that I am in a Range Rover when me and Ethan arrived in a beat up 03 sedan together. Either way I ignore them and head inside. Especially because I don't want Jake to catch me out here.
"Bitch! You have so much to tell me. Where did you get that car? Give me the keys, I am driving it," Naomi demands when I make it to my locker.
"No. You won't touch anything but the passenger or the back seat with your grimy little hands. Jake's dad is letting me drive it while I am staying with them," I quickly explain.
Her and Julie instantly start screaming.
"You are living together. What? How? When? Stop holding out on us," Julie screams.
"Why does your new roommate look like he's about to kill you," Nay mumbles.
I look behind me and see Jake walking towards me with purpose. He looks pissed. I realize I might have went too far. I mean did he leave me all hot and bothered? Yes. Did I have the right to leave him at the house in his own car? No.
"Slow him down please," I beg the girls before I turn and make a dash to homeroom. I walk as fast as I can basically running away from my angry boyfriend who I abandoned this morning.
It seemed like a good idea to look behind me especially when I saw him walk right past the girls but then I collided with someone and ended up on the floor. I look up and see Brent the hockey player bending down to help me up.
"Shoot. I wasn't paying attention where I was walking. I am so sorry," I quickly mumble while scrambling up to my feet.
"It's fine, welcome back. You have been gone for a while. I missed you at our game," he adds with his fuckboy smile.
I offer a quick thanks and a congrats on the win before I try to dash past him. I can feel Jake's anger and know that me talking to this hockey boy after running away from him will only feed his anger.
I make it about 4 steps before my hips are grabbed and I am quickly turned around and met with a bruising kiss. I am a weak girl so I melt into the kiss with a sigh.
"You left me," Jake whines when he pulls away. I expected anger. Not adorableness. "What did I do baby? I am sorry I made you upset," he pecks me again and looks at me expectantly.
"Um... Well," I don't know how to tell him.
"What is it baby? Don't be afraid to tell me. I can't make it better if you don't tell me," he adds with a pout. Damnit.
"Youleftmehorny," I quickly mumble.
Jake starts choking on his spit and looks at me like I am crazy.
"You left me, ran away from me, and talked to a hockey boy because I kissed you too well? You have to be kidding me, I thought I did something wrong. You can't do that baby, I was going crazy trying to figure out how to fix something I didn't know happened," he declares.
"I am sorry. You are right. I have never felt like that before so I didn't know how to act. I won't do it again, I promise." I probably will overreact again, but he doesn't need to know that.
"So that's where the troll was, sleeping around to get a Range Rover."
