Sam POV
After Jake tells me everything I can't help but chuckle.
"I am cursed," I mumble.
"It was from when we played that damn demon board in middle school," Ethan softly adds from by the wall. I look at him and bust into laughter.
"It is your fault we played that board. You are the one that wanted to look like the big bad wolf," I tease.
"Well I would take it back if I knew you wouldn't be able to say I love you without getting hit by a car," Ethan huffs. We all bust out laughing at that. The situation is crazy.
"Everyone is here to see you. You are in the intensive unit right now so they can't come back. When they shift you be ready to be overwhelmed. You just had to pick a boy that came with a giant overbearing family," my dad teases.
We wait until we are moved into a separate room. I don't want to stay in the hospital but I know I don't have a choice. I hop I am out by my birthday on Saturday.
*************
"Well Sam you sure no how to give us a heart attack, when I got notification of the damage to your car from the sensors I was terrified. I am glad you are okay," Rob whispers when he walks in.
"If my idiotic son didn't scare you away you would be at home right now," Myra adds with a glare to the idiot of the hour. I can't help but chuckle and snuggle deeper into him.
All of the Rossis filter in and out to give me well wishes and offer themselves up for service. Some of the men, Lorenzo, eye me a little too much in my hospital gown. Jake literally growls and snaps the covers over me.
"I am hot," I complain.
"That is the problem Tesoro," Jake huffs.
"Are you speaking Italian to me to butter me up after today? It is working," everyone chuckles at me.
"Lorenzo. I will put a bullet in you if you don't stop looking at his girl," Angelo threatens.
Lorenzo just glares back until his father steps in and smacks him on the back of the head.
"She is spoken for you idiota," Angelo Sr. booms.
"And a minor," Ally adds.
I feel like she just likes to contribute. I think Lorenzo and I are the same age. I just laugh at her and shake my head.
Everyone slowly started filtering out until it was my parents, Jake, and Angelo. Nay and Ben came and Nay was a wreck. She thought this was her fault for letting me drive in distress. Luckily we were able to calm her down.
"Baby we have to go, are you going to be okay? I love you," my mom says while kissing my head.
"I will be fine. Go. I will see you tomorrow," I smile.
My dad gives me a kiss on my head and follows my mom out the door.
"Did they tell you how long you have to be here for," Angelo asks.
"They said a few days. I am hoping to get her out by her birthday," Jake explains.
"The big 18, that feels like so long ago for me," Angelo chuckles. "Any plans?"
"lei non sa della festa," Jake says. (she doesn't know about the party)
"Cosa le hai preso?" Angelo responds. (what did you get her)
"Absolutely not. You both shut your mouths. Jake you know I think it is sexy when you talk in another language but until I learn it you better stop talking about me," I huff. Stupid Italians.
"Baby. You know you like it," Jake chuckles.
"You know you like my kisses. Speak in Italian about me again and you won't get them," I threaten.
"You could never go that long without kisses," Jake threatens back.
"I have Jonas to replace you with. What is your plan? Wanna speak Italian and test me on my threat. I already left your ass this morning. You should know by now my threats are real," I scoot away from him to prove my point. Knowing he will pull me back. He does.
"I am sorry amore," he mumbles while kissing my head. "No more secrets," Jake looks at Angelo in a way that makes me very suspicious.
"Angelo-" I start.
"Nope. This friendship is too new for me to get in between you two. I am out. Ciao Bella, Jake."
He ran out faster than I could blink.
"Coward," I huff.
"Visiting hours are over," a nurse announces while walking in the room. She looks right past me and straight to my Italian man.
"Visiting applies that I am not supposed to be here. I go where she is," Jake argues without looking away from me. The nurse bends down and pretends to mess with my wires. Could she be anymore obvious.
"You have to leave sir," she starts.
"Ask your boss. I am sure I am cleared to stay here. My fiancé needs me," Jake adds. I almost choke on my spit when he casually calls himself my fiancé. I know he used it to get on the ambulance but it is so different hearing him say it.
The nurse huffs and stomps her way to hallway.
"I love that you didn't even look at her," I whisper to him with a smile.
"I did when she first walked in. When I saw her look at me I wanted her to know she stood no chance. How could she? You are laying in my arms."
"You are too smooth for your own good," I giggle. He makes me feel like a queen.
********
"Baby there's something we need to talk about," Jake says. We have been staring at the ceiling in silence since the nurse got yelled at for disrespecting Jake, by Jake.
"Let's talk," I say hesitantly.
"Bailey has been handled. She got life for murder. Brandon is still in the basement. My father and Angelo said that I get to decide what happens to him. What do you want to happen with him? You choose," Jake explains.
"What do you want to happen? You tell me," I whisper.
"I want him dead," Jake says with no hesitation.
"Can you do that? Can you take a life? I don't want you to suffer," I whisper while touching his face.
"Baby. I would light this world on fire if it meant you would be safe. He is a monster. Monsters need to be disposed of," Jake declares.
"If you think you can do it then do it. I know why you are asking me Jake. You are scared that I will love you less. Or be afraid of you. Baby I watched you beat the shit out of my twin. I saw you get angry when I said I love you. I deal with your stinky bed farts. All of Jake, means all of it. I take all of it for all of you."
"God. You are perfect," he groans and kisses me. "My farts don't stink."
"I can't wait to get out of this hospital bed so that you can get inside my pants," I mumble.
Jake bust out laughing and shakes his head at me.
"Baby, I promise you are going to want to wait. When we start, there will be no stopping," he groans.
"Is that a promise?"
