"Hey Hime?" Tony yelled out from the kitchen.
"Yeah?" I answered, sitting on the couch.
"How long have you and Kelsey been together now?" He asked.
"About 6 months, why?" I replied, wondering what the point was to this conversation.
"You do realise she's gonna have to meet your mum soon" he smirked.
"Shit" I muttered. My mum has this rule where if you've been dating someone for 6 months or over, then she has to meet them.
"She's not that bad" he said sitting next to me.
"She's nosey, too nosey" I sighed.
"She has good intentions, besides you met Kelsey's family" Tony argued. He did have a point there.
"Well we'll talk about it when she finishes work" I said.
-- later that day --
"Hey guys" Kelsey yelled out as she walked inside.
"Sup" Tony said as I went over and kissed her.
"Hime, not in front of the turtle" she laughed pointing at Tony who had a disgusted look on his face.
After a while I knew I had to bring it up.
"I think it's time I introduced you to my mum" I said nervously.
"Why did you say it like that?" She asked me.
"Like what?" I asked trying to sound casual.
"Like your about to perform surgery" she said knowingly.
"Because he doesn't like her" Tony yelled out with a mouthful of chips.
"It's not that I don't like her, she's just...intrusive" I said glaring at Tony.
"I'm sure I'll cope. When do I meet her?" She asked.
"I don't know" I replied trying to figure out the furtherest date.
"It'll have to be soon, you know before we go on tour" Tony said. I face palmed myself.
"Your going on tour?" Kelsey asked, shocked.
"I'm just gonna leave you with that" Tony said slowly walking upstairs.
"So when are you going?" she asked me.
"In a couple of weeks" I mumbled.
"Why didn't you tell me?" She asked. She didn't seem angry, she looked hurt.
"I wanted to, but I didn't want to upset you" I sighed.
"You'll only upset me if you lie to me Jaime" she said, playing with my hair.
"I know" I replied.
"Well I guess I'm gonna have to meet your mum soon then" she said.
"Tonight then? I might as well get it over and done with" I sighed.
"I'll see you tonight then, and don't be grumpy" she said kissing me before she walked outside and drove home.
"Hey Tony?" I yelled out.
"Yeah?" He yelled back from upstairs.
"I'm still gonna kill you for that" I said before running upstairs to beat him up.
