Chapter 5

It's been a week since Jaime and I kissed and he hasn't called me. I know it's only been 1 week and I shouldn't worry about it, but I don't want to be played like I have been in the past.

I had just finished my shift at work when my phone went off. It was him.
"Hey Jaime" I said.
"Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to have dinner with me tonight? Unless you're busy if course" he said nervously.

"No I'm free tonight" I replied, trying not to sound too excited.
"Great, I'll pick you up at 6" he said happily and hung up. I stood outside the coffee shop smiling like an idiot.

As soon as I got home, I started getting ready. I didn't want to look too fancy so I wore a black lace top, leather skirt and nude pumps. I did a smokey eye makeup and red lips and kept my hair naturally wavy. I heard Jaime knock on the front door which made me jump a bit.

"Hey" he said as I opened the door. He was wearing a button down shirt with short sleeves and black jeans.
"Hey" I said, taken away by how attractive he looked.

I followed him to his car and got in the passengers side.
"So where are we going?" I asked him as he started driving.
"I thought we could go to one of my favourite Italian restaurants" he replied as he parked outside a little restaurant.

He got out of the car and opened my door for me.
"Why thankyou" I said.
"No problem" he smiled as we walked into the restaurant. We sat at our table and ordered our food.

"You've really thought this through haven't you?" I said.
"Yeah it's a bit overboard isn't it?" He asked.
"No no it's perfect" I said.
"Good" he replied as our food came.

When we finished our food, we got into the car and drove back to my house. We stood outside and looked at eachother. I was about to talk when he spoke.
"Look Kelsey I really like you, like a lot, and I know we haven't known eachother for long and this is crazy but, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked nervously.

He was blushing and it was the cutest thing I've ever seen.
"Only if you'll be my boyfriend?" I smirked and he kissed me. I kissed back until we pulled away. He just smiled at the ground and got into his car.

I went inside as he drove off and sighed happily as I shut the door. I got changed and went to sleep dreaming about Jaime and what our relationship would be like.
