Kelsey
As we walked up the steps towards my parents house that night, I was a nervous wreck. Jaime stopped walking and turned to me.
"It's gonna be fine" he said.
"Just promise you won't run away" I said anxiously.
"I promise Kelsey" he said reassuringly, kissing me on the head.

I held his hand and knocked on the door. Suddenly my mum opened it.
"Kelsey I'm so glad you two made it" she said happily. I introduced Jaime and my mum, which wasn't as bad as I expected. 1 down, 2 to go.

We walked into the living room where Dayna was sitting on the couch.
"Kelsey!" She said and hugged me.
"I see how you're related" Jaime said quietly so that only I could hear.
"Dayna, this is Jaime" I said bracing myself for the embarrassment.

"Oh so you're the guy I've been hearing all about" she smirked. I just blushed as he looked over at me. Dad walked out of the kitchen and over to Jaime.
"Hello son" my dad said, shaking Jaime's hand.
"Hello sir" he said happily.

We soon sat down at the dinner table to eat. The room was filled with an awkward silence as people ate.
"So what do you do for a living?" My dad asked Jaime. Oh great this won't end well I thought to myself.
"I'm actually in a band, I play bass guitar" he said.

"Pay well?" My dad asked.
"Yeah it's getting there. We've just released a new album actually" Jaime replied, totally unaware of the awkwardness in the room. We all talked a bit more until everyone was finished eating.

My dad and Jaime were talking so Dayna and I did the dishes.
"Will you stop fidgeting?" Dayna said.
"I'm sorry I just want to know what they're talking about" I said looking over at dad and Jaime.

"Dad likes him" she said glancing over.
"How do you know?" I asked her.
"Because he's acting the same way he did around Corey when he first met him" she replied. Corey was her husband and dad loved him like he was his own son.

"But I'm the youngest so he cares more about me" I smirked.
"Excuse me, I'm the favourite" she said.
"Stop bickering you two" mum said as she walked past.
"Sorry" we both said in unison.

After a while, Jaime and I decided to leave. We said our goodbyes and got into my car.
"You can breathe now babe" Jaime laughed as we drove around the corner.
"I'm sorry I was just scared they wouldn't like you" I said.

"Well I showed your dad some of Pierce The Veil's songs and he likes our music, and your mum likes my dimples" he said smiling.
"Everyone likes your dimples Hime" I laughed.
"You never told me your sister was so cool" he said.

"My sister is not cool Jaime, she is a freak" I said causing him to laugh.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing, it's just that you guys are so alike it's crazy" he said.
"Whatever" I sighed as we pulled up outside his house.

"See you tomorrow?" He asked.
"Work" I sighed.
"Right, well I'll call you anyway" he said kissing me. I kissed back until Tony came out.
"Get inside Preciado!" He yelled. Jaime just laughed and got out of the car.

"See ya Kelsey!" Tony yelled.
"Bye Tony!" I yelled back as I drove away.
