Janes POV
I hug Cathy and she smiles and kisses my head. "I'm gonna miss you tonight." I whisper and she lays her head on my chest,
"That's why we're cuddling right now." Cathy whispers and I smile.
Later that day
I frown and Cathy goes to walk out but I grab her hand. "It's one night! And then tomorrow we'll be getting married." Cathy whispers and I smile and kiss her, she kisses back but then pulls away. "I love you Janey," she whispers and I hug her.
"I love you too," I say and she smiles.
"Bye Jane," She says and Mae runs over. "Ready to go?" Cathy asks and Mae nods,
"Bye Mae!" Kat shouts and Mae waves,
"Bye Kat! Bye Anne!" Mae yells and Anne runs downstairs and waves.
"See ya shortie!" Anne says and Mae glares and walks out with Cathy but stops and runs towards me and hugs me.
"Bye Mom," Mae says and I hug her and kiss her head.
"Bye Mae," I say and she runs over to Cathy.
Kat POV
3 hours later
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Anne asks and I nod, "okay let me rephrase that, are you sure you want ME to do this?" Anne asks and I giggle and nod my head again. She holds up the hair dye and point to the ends of my hair, "this will you be in YOUR hair. Your hair. Now let me ask you again. Are you absolutely sure you want to do this?" Anne asks, I take the hair dye and nod,
"Yes I am sure. I spent my allowance money on this." I say and Anne sighs,
"And if Mom wakes up you get to die first." Anne says and holds out her hand,
"Deal." I say and she smiles,
"I can't believe I'm about to dye your hair." Anne says and I smile,
"Wanna FaceTime Mae?" I ask and Anne sighs,
"I guess but you have to turn to volume down." Anne says and I look at her,
"Since when are you scared of doing anything?" I ask,
"Since I don't want to die because we're dying your hair the day before the moms wedding day." Anne says and I grab my phone and FaceTime Mae.
However many minutes/hours later
I run my fingers through my hair. "How did Mom not wake up while you were blow drying your hair?" Mae asks and I shrug,
"My gosh Annie you did a really good job!" I exclaim and she smiles.
"Thanks." She says and I sigh,
"I guess we should go to bed." I say and Mae nods,
"I'll see you guys tomorrow." Mae says smiling and we wave, "byeeeeeee." Mae says,
"Byeeeeeeee." We whisper and she hangs up, I smile and shut my phone off.
"Moms gonna kill us for using all of the tinfoil." Anne whispers and I nod, I put all the stuff away and put my hair in a loose ponytail and hug Anne.
"Can I sleep in your room? I've been having bad dreams." I say and Anne nods,
"Go grab your pillow and stuffed animal." Anne says and I walk out of the bathroom and quietly open my door and grab my stuff before walking over to Anne's room. I climb on her bed and she lays down and I cuddle up next to her. "I can't wait for tomorrow." Anne whispers and I yawn and nod.
"Me too," I whisper and she smiles.
"I've never seen Mom so happy since she adopted us." Anne whispers and I nod and start to fall asleep to Anne's quiet snores.
