I met Evan's surprised eyes and nodded," Yes. I like training now."
" Okay, who are you and what did you do with Ollie ?" Evan shot up and began to grab my face and stretch my cheeks out," Whatever spell you casted on yourself to look like her, cut it out. You should've at least done some research before hand, I mean Ollie is the laziest person I've ever met! You can't -"
" Evan it's me, cut it out." I growled, with him pinching my left cheek.
" Yeah, right, when's my birthday ?"
" When's your -!" I growled and swatted his hands away from my face," How would I know, you refused to tell me every time I asked when we were kids!"
Back then, I was forced to pick a random day every year to be his birthday so I could give him a present and cake because he refused to tell me. It was a real pain in the ass.
Evan hummed in response before sighing," Man, it really is you, huh ?"
" What gave it away, genius ?" I snapped.
" And here I thought I was doing you a favor by letting you sleep in a little." He threw his hands up," This is what I get for trying to be a good friend."
" Sure you were." I glanced over at the wall of windows that overlooked the garden where a couple dozen maids were wearing tight workout clothes and watering the plants, while a few others took breaks and cooled off in the pool," I'm sure the fact that where you're sitting perfectly overlooks a bunch of girls in bikinis and workout clothes is just a coincidence."
" Wait a minute," He rubbed his chin," Why do I get the feeling you're accusing me of doing something lecherous ?"
" I mean . . . " I trailed off and looked through the windows again.
Evan gasped indignantly," How dare you ? I would never insult the mood goddess' blessing like that!"
I rolled my eyes," Sure, I believe you."
" Why does it feel like you don't mean that ?"
" Oh just come on." I said as I grabbed his arm and started pulling him out of the sun room.
" W-wait a second, my breakfast!" Evan yelled as we began walking down the hall.
" You eat enough for a family of five, I'm sure that wasn't your first helping."
Evan offered a whimper in response before wiggling his arm out of my grip and standing up straight to walk beside me.
We stopped in the gym so Evan could pick up some boxing gloves before walking out to the training grounds. No one else was there whenever we trained, I wasn't sure why that was, but no one was here last time either.
" Since you're so fired up for training, let's get going with stretching so we can get into it." Evan said as he placed the gloves at his feet and stretched himself out.
I reached for my toes," Hey Evan, do you think we could have a spar at the end of training today ?"
Evan brought his chest up and reached up to stretch his arms above his head," Why are you so eager to spar ? Don't tell me you want to settle the score from when we were kids."
" No, I just want to see how rusty I am." I said as I sat on the ground and spread my legs out to my sides before stretching to my left to reach for my toes with both hands.
" Well, we don't have to spar for that, I can tell you that you're probably at the same level you were at when we were eight." He replied as he sat down and mirrored my stretching.
