Chapter Eleven

Toni's POV
I wake up to Cheryl in my arms, she slept over at my place. I kiss her awake and she kisses my neck "Good morning" she says with a raspy voice and I smile "I love your morning voice" I tell her "And I love you" she responds and we smile at each other. I hold her for a little while longer until we have to get up, we both have hickies on our necks but I have anything to cover mine with and I really don't care is someone sees them. "Hey hickies what's up" Sweetpea laughs and I slap his head "Rude" he says and I hit his head again, this time he gets up "What are you going to do about it" I say standing tall, he picks me up and throws me on the couch and he starts tickling me. He knows that's my weak spot, if you tickle me I will always lose.
"Baby" Cheryl says kissing my neck "Yes babe" I respond and she kisses my jaw "Are you going to cover your neck?" She asks me and I shake my head no "Well I'm going to make more" she tells me. She lifts my chin up and to the side so she can have more access to my neck, she starts creating more hickies. I swear Cheryl seems so sweet and innocent but she's freaky.

We get to school and go stand with our friends who are beside their cars "Did a vampire named Cheryl bite you?" Veronica asks "Damn Cher" Kevin says looking at my neck "There is no way you don't have any" Jughead says and they all look at Cheryl "I have make up for a reason" she tells them "Can I speak to you?" Betty says to me and I look at Cheryl then nod my head.
We walk off from the group "Do you like Cheryl?" She asks me "Yes" I say confused "I'm dating her why wouldn't I" I ask and she shrugs "You could be playing her. Wouldn't be the first time" Betty says and I stand up straight "Betty listen. I don't have any intentions to hurt Cheryl, she's my girlfriend and I won't do anything to her without consent and I mean anything" I tell her and she nods "Good" She smiles "Why are you being so hostile all of a sudden?" I ask "Just wanted to make sure" she tells me "Oh by the way" she says pointing to my neck "Are you going to cover that?" She asks and I shake my head no.

I'm in my math class and my teacher keeps looking at me, the bell rings and I get up "Toni stay" the teacher says and I stop and wait for everyone to leave "Yes ma'am" I say and she smiles "Your neck" she starts "Are you okay? Did you get hurt?" She asks trying to go around the question "It was consensual and I'm fine" I tell her and she nods "Remember you can't play basketball if you're pregnant" she says and I start laughing "What? It can happen" she tells me and I laugh harder "I can't get pregnant. I'm dating a girl. I'm gay" I tell her and she nods her head "Okay go on to lunch" she says and I leave her room crying laughing.
I sit down at the lunch table with tears running down my face and still laughing "Whats so funny?" Jughead asks "My math teacher thought I was having sex with a boy and told me to not get pregnant" I tell them laugh and they start laughing too "I can get you pregnant" Cheryl says and we all look at her "I don't think you have the facilities to do that" Veronica says "Unless your fingers can can hit some eggs I think I'm fine" I say and Cheryl smirks "Wanna try it" she asks and Betty smacks her head "One lunch. One normal lunch is all I'm asking" She says and we all laugh again "You get no normal anything with us gays around" Kevin tells her "I'm not gay" Jughead says "Well 5 of us are so you are too" Kevin tells him "I'm bi" I tell him "I'm pan" Betty says "I'm bi too" Veronica adds "I like pussy" Cheryl smiles and I kiss her cheek "So only two gays? Lame" Kevin says (Every sexuality is valid) "Fangs is gay and Sweetpea is well straight so kinda three gays" I tell him and Kevin smiles "You can't even hear his name without smiling like an idiot" Jughead says "Shut up Forsyth" Kevin says and we laugh at his name.

"What the hell are you talking about?" I ask Veronica who has been rambling about something "I want to get Betty a dog" she says "You have to ask her mom first" I tell her and she nods "You should get Cheryl one" she says and I think about it "I might. I'll have to check if it's fine with Penelope first" I say. I text Penelope and tell her our plan and she gives me Betty's mom's number to give to V. "She said go to her house" Veronica says showing me her phone and we head over to Betty's house. Betty, Cheryl and Kevin dragged Jughead to a hair appointment so they will be there for a while.
We knock on the door and Betty's mom lets us in "Hey I'm Toni" I say shaking her hand "Cheryl's girlfriend?" She asks and I nod my head "Hello I'm Veronica" V says shaking her hand and Betty's mom stares at her "Call me Alice" she smiles and V let's out a breath of relief. We sit at the table and tell Alice the plan and she give us the okay and tells us what kind of dog our girlfriends have always wanted.
We have already looked for dogs because we have talked about this before but we just never did it. We find the dogs we want to get and we go pick them up. We tell Betty and Cheryl to go to Betty's house together.
We drive an hour away and an hour back but it's worth it. We get to Betty's house and we have Kevin and Jughead helping us. "Hey baby" V and I said at the same time and our girlfriends smiled at us "Why did y'all want to meet here?" Betty asks "I have a surprise for you" Veronica says "Close your eyes. Both of you" I say and they close their eyes. Jughead has Betty's dog and he comes inside with it "Surprise!!!" V said and they opened their eyes "You got me a puppy!!!" Betty says excitedly taking the dog from Jughead and starts playing with him "He's so cute" she says "How did you know I wanted a pitbull?" Betty asks and we shrug "I know you babe" Veronica says and we smile at Alice. Cheryl looks sad but happy at the same time, she looks at me. I can take it anymore, I was going to mess with her and wait to give her the puppy but I can't she looks too sad "We didn't forget about you Cher" I tell her and Kevin comes in with her dog "You didn't" she says gently taking the puppy from Kevin "I did" I smile and she kisses me on the lips. Her eyes start watering "Hey buddy" she says and the dog cuddles up in her lap and set his face on her leg. Veronica and I split the cost of the dogs because I'm not rich and she is but I'm not letting her buy them by herself, we got Betty a grey pit bull and Cheryl a red headed husky. Alice and Penelope told us that she always wanted a red haired dog and after her brother's death she wanted to name the dog Jace "Are you staying with the name?" Betty asks and Cheryl nods "Jace" she smiles and kisses the puppy's head "What are you naming him?" Jughead asks Betty "I'm thinking skater" she says "Why skater?" Kevin asks "I don't know he just looks like a little skater" she tells him and we smile at the two girls.
