Chapter 24. Shocking News

Third person POV

The older Uchiha was scanning through the data bases in the Konoha Sky Tower on the top floor. His younger brother called, telling him that there were two students got mind controlled. Chief Yamato also added some details, saying that the culprit behind this was from the graduated students.

Itachi clenched his fists tightly, he couldn't accept the fact that it was actually someone in his grade, furthermore, it might be one of his classmates, or worse, one of his friends he knew.

His thoughts snapped when his right hand man patted his back, making him come back to reality. Kisame then handed him a cup of hot coffee.

"Loosen up, Itachi. We'll definitely find the one behind this."

The older Uchiha relaxed a bit, he took the hot coffee from him and sipped a bit, a bitter taste spreaded on his tongue.

"Thanks Kisame. Did you check what Yamato just sent to us?"

Kisame nodded and tapped the table twice. A screen popped up and floated above the table. He swiped the screen and clicked on a video which was named 'unknown'. The right hand man frowned when the video started playing.

"Yamato sensei sent us a video which was first encrypted into a code, his hackers converted back into his original form and a video formed. Someone named 'Unknown' sent it to him, straight to his private email. Weird right? And look here, see someone familiar?"

He pointed to the screen, two figures got tied up and was glaring at something or someone. Itachi widened his eyes in surprise, those two...

What are they doing there!?

"That's why they didn't come up to the stage to get their certificates. They're imprisoned in there! But why....? This doesn't make sense."

Kisame placed his fingers under his chin, another arm lifting the other and furrowed his eyebrows. He agreed with Itachi, those two didn't show up yesterday's Graduation Ceremony at all. Those two were next to their elite class and their grades were almost on par as them, they couldn't possibly skip the most important occasion in their lives.

"Itachi.... This is no doubt a kidnap. We better send this to Yamato and rescue them out fast."

"Doing that now. Where's the other members? They need to know about this." The older Uchiha asked as he typed on the floating keyboard in fast speed.

"Sasori, Deidara and Obito are checking the other informations that Yamato sent to us, Hidan and Kakuzu are trying to find places perfect for hideouts, increasing the chance of finding Orochimaru and Kurama."

"Good. I'll let my Otouto know about this. But our first priority is to find out who's the one lurking in the academy besides Orochimaru and Kurama."

"Hai!"

The Akatsuki guys worked all day, they wanted to find them as soon as possible, but sadly there's no clues leading to them. While they're struggling, Hidan barged into the meeting room with a bang with a USB in his hand. The rest of the Akatsuki were also behind him.

"ITACHI! YAMATO FOUND SOMETHING!"

Kakuzu bonked Hidan's head and scolded him. "You don't have to yell baka."

Hidan frowned while rubbing the pain on his head as he handed the USB to Kisame, he plugged it in the table and a photo appeared on the floating screen.

Deidara folded his arms and spoke in a serious tone. "Yamato and Jiraiya checked the security cameras and found this. This person was wearing all black with a hood, he/she also covered his face with a mask and destroyed the security cameras in the academy. Yamato and the other police officers tried to recover the all the items inside the security but they could only recover this."
