While Wattpad wants teen romance, the real world wants DYSTOPIAN, like you know those awesome stories that I'm obsessed with? XD The ones where there's a futuristic society, and lots of action! <3 YAY. XD It's the genre that's been getting "movie turn intos" these days.
But there's one thing I don't really like about them. :/ It's the love triangles. Ever since The Hunger Games, there's always a love triangle in the dystopian books. Like you know the covers where, the main character (girl) stands in the middle, with her two "lovers" standing on either side of her. Personally, I'm not a fan of romance, and maybe they should put the antagonist next to her for a change. It's just better- more exciting, at least I think so.
Another thing I hate about these love triangles is that, it's always the same, and I hate that same way.
Girl- Heroine
Boy #1- Heroine's extremely hot gorgeous BEST FRIEND since they were kids.
Boy #2- Some random guy Heroine meets during her adventure.
And Heroine ALWAYS picks Boy #2! :((( I just... I'm always on Boy #1's side, because frankly I feel bad for him! I mean like, he's been with her since forever, and then he wants to be more than friends, but she runs off with a random dude.
Like maybe Guy #1 should win for once. XD But I don't really care about the love triangles too much, I'm more interested in her adventure. XD Just wanted to give Guy #1 the sympathy he deserves. XD
