So in the last chapter Kenneth met Shockwave and two of the girls learned about his insomnia. Although Kenneth has yet to help out the Decepticon leader.
Kenneth was walking around the base as he was recently given more freedom ever since he assisted Soundwave. "I wonder how everyone is doing back in town?" Kenneth thought to himself as he continued to make his way through the base. "Oh, Kenny!" Ken turned to see Knockout running up to him and pulling him into a hug. "What are you doing cutie?" Knockout said as she pressed herself up against Kenneth. "Nothing much Knockout, I haven't been needed anywhere on the base recently." Ken said as he looked over his shoulder at the Decepticon medic.
"Oh that's too bad, maybe you could come spend some time with me." Knockout said in a flirty tone as Ken let out a slightly annoyed sigh as a small blush was on his face. Ken was used to people teasing and picking on him, but it was still annoying to be teased regardless. "There you are human, I require your assistance." Ken and Knockout turned to see Megatron walking towards them. Knockout immediately jumped off of Ken and backed away and stood at attention. "What do you need my help with Lady Megatron?" Ken asked as he looked at the Megatron leader with a curious look in his eye.
"Just follow me human." Megatron said as she turned on her heel and began to walk away as Kenneth followed her.eventually the duo made their way back to Lady Megatron's office as she sat down at her desk as a smile spread across her face. "Now then Kenneth, Soundwave mentioned that your rather good at organization and cleaning. I was hoping you would be able to help organization my filing cabinets." Megatron said as she smiled at Kenneth, who felt slightly intimidated by Lady Megatron as most people tend to do in her presence.
Megatron watched as Kenneth sat on the floor of her office as he was surrounded by stacks of documents and files. "Kenneth you are such a good little worker, to think I was worried you would resist working for the Decepticons!" Megatron thought as she silently laughed to herself as she continued to watch Kenneth work. "Soundwave and Shockwave mentioned your condition to me, how long were you planning on keeping it a secret from us?" Megatron asked as Kenneth flinched at her words before slowly looking over his shoulder at the Decepticon leader as he felt his nerves begin to spike.
"H-Honestly it's just such a normal part of my life I don't feel the need to let everyone know about my insomnia." Kenneth explained as that was the actual truth, he really wasn't trying to keep anything a secret. "Is that so? Well I already plan to make you helping Shockwave test those medicines she's making as a mandatory job for you to preform. After all, your no use to us if you can't function." Megatron said as she seemed to only care about whether or not Kenneth could continue to do his work for her and the rest of the Decepticons.
"With all due respect Lady Megatron, I do get sleep at least 8 to 10 nights a month so it's not like I don't sleep period." Kenneth said as he turned back to focus on the work he was currently doing. What Kenneth didn't notice was the look of shock and concern on Megatron's face. While she would never flat out admit, she cared about the well-being about everyone on the Decepticon Base. "How in the name of Cybertron has this man been walking much less working on the sleep he gets?!" Megatron thought to herself as she couldn't wrap her head around it.
Megatron's thoughts were interrupted as a screen deployed from the ceiling of her office as the Autobot Logo appeared on the screen before a woman with long blue hair with bits of white appeared on screen with a serious look on her face.

Megatron groaned as she looked at the Autobot Leader in annoyance. "What do you want Opala?! I haven't done anything since we defeated Unicron!" Megatron groaned as she didn't feel like dealing with this bullshit right now. "Megatron I'm not here to remind you not to try anything. You remember Andrew correct?" Opala said as Megatron thought about it for a second. "Your little human? How does this concern me?" Megatron asked as she honestly felt like her time was being wasted right now in the moment.
Opala let out a sigh that had hints of worry in it before locking eyes with Megatron once again. "Andrew's friend Kenneth has been missing for the past few weeks and he can't get in contact with him. I was wondering if you've seen him, Andrew hasn't been able to relax ever since he disappeared." Opala explained as Megatron felt her heart stop beating for a split second. Megatron knew how much Opala cared about her little human and if she found out that she was the direct cause of it, well there would be hell to pay. "Lady Megatron? I think everything has been sorted." Kenneth as he walked up next to her desk.
Megatron stopped herself from cursing as Opala looked at Kenneth and seemed to be trying to restrain herself from yelling at her. "Oh! Um I'm sorry am I interrupting something?" Kenneth asked as he looked away in embarrassment. "No it's quite alright, my name is Opala Prime, a pleasure to finally meet you Kenneth." Opala said as she smiled at Kenneth in a friendly manner. "Oh! Did Lady Megatron mention me?" Kenneth asked as he looked at Opala with curiosity present in his eyes. Megatron wanted to slam her head against her desk.
"No, I'm a close friend of Andrew's he's told me quite a bit about you." Opala explained as Kenneth looked at her in surprise and realization. "Oh your the friends Andrew told me he wanted to introduce me to!" Kenneth said as he finally understood who his childhood friend was talking to. "Yes well, now Megatron would you be so kind as to explain why Kenneth is currently at your base?" Opala said in a friendly tone, but it was clear she was in a rather bad mood at this point. "Opala, let's not start any unnecessary fights. Kenneth is just my newest worker is all." Megatron said as she tried not to set the Autobot leader off in anyway possible.
"You kidnapped a human and forced him to work for you! To think that I actually would trust you to not to pull a stunt like this!" Opala growled as she lost her composure slightly. "Oh don't go there Opala! If your allowed to have a little human help you and the Autobots then I can do the same thing!" Megatron fires back as she slammed her fist down on her desk in anger. Kenneth quickly stepped in between Megatron and the screen displaying Opala. "With all due respect Opala, Lady Megatron and the other Decepticons have been rather kind to me. I'm completely happy to work for her so there is no reason for any hostilities." Kenneth said as he tried to defuse the entire situation.
Opala seemed to calmed down as she smiled at Megatron as she almost seemed proud of her. "So you finally decided to accept humans? I must say I'm impressed Megatron." Opala said as the smile never left her face as the leader let out an annoyed groan at Opala's words. "I'll make sure to explain everything to Andrew, goodbye Kenneth and make sure you take care of him Megatron." Opala said before she cut communication with the Decepticon leader. Megatron let out an annoyed groan as she rubbed her temples in frustration. Megatron felt a hand on her shoulder as she looked over at Kenneth.
"Are you okay Lady Megatron?" Kenneth asked as he gave her a concerned look on his face. Megatron let out a sigh as she quickly looked at Kenneth. "I'm fine Kenneth, thank you for organizing everything and for diffusing that situation." Megatron said as she was finally able to calm down. Kenneth smiled before he stepped away from her side before he quickly stood in front of her desk. "Now then Kenneth, I expect you to assist me twice a week in my office from now on, I of course can call you in whenever I please." Megatron explained as she smiled at him.
"Understood Lady Megatron." Kenneth said as she turned to leave the office. "Oh and Kenneth, I plan on having you be taken back to your home so you can collect more of your personal belongings." Megatron explained as Kenneth nodded his head in understanding. "Thank you Lady Megatron, I appreciate it!" Kenneth said before he took his leave from the office. Megatron sat back in her chair as she thought about Kenneth and his work the past few weeks. "Kenneth you truly are an interesting little human! Megatron thought to herself before she returned to her work that she was doing.
So Kenneth assisted Lady Megatron in her office and we finally got to meet one of the members of the Autobots, the leader in fact Opala Prime! Of course now Kenneth has to help Shockwave with her experimental sleep medication. On top of that Megatron plans on letting Kenneth return to his house and collect some of his personal belongings. What awaits Kenneth next on the Decepticon Base? Who else will he meet now that the Autobots know where he is? Find out in the next chapter of Not So Evil!
