Starscream made her way towards Kenneth's room as she thought about the current situation that she had gotten him into. "Why is he so accepting of this? He should be outraged at me!" Starscream thought to herself as she finally made it to his room. Starscream opened the door and was surprised to find Kenneth already up and dressed for work. "Oh good morning Starscream! I'm ready to go when you are." Kenneth said as he greeted her. "R-Right please follow me." Starscream said as she led Kenneth towards the garage of the base, where their vehicles are held.
"Breakdown where are you? I've brought the human to help you!" Starscream shouted as Kenneth looked around the garage. Kenneth has to say this was probably the most impressive garage he has ever seen, multiple floors loaded with different vehicles outfitted for combat. "Yeah, yeah cool your jets Starscream! I'm coming over right now!" A gruff female voice shouted back as Kenneth heard approaching footsteps. There was a tall lady in a blue jacket with blue hair holding a wrench. "This must be that Breakdown lady Starscream was talking about." Kenneth thought to himself as he looked the girl over.

"This twig is my helper? You've gotta be kidding me! He looks like he can't even hold a wrench!" Breakdown said with frustration obvious in her voice as she rubbed her face with her hand. "With all due respect Miss Breakdown I can lift a wrench and I know how to use it." Kenneth said in a dark tone as Breakdown gave him a stony glare. Suddenly Breakdown threw back her head and let out a booming laugh. "Alright twig! Looks like your not some skinny weakling after all!" Breakdown said as she gave Kenneth a slap on the back. "Alright Starscream I'll take it from here, thanks for dropping the little guy off." Breakdown said as she shooed Starscream away.
Breakdown led Kenneth over to a blue muscle car similar to his own, minus the engine sticking out of the hood. The Decepticon logo was printed on the hood and had a white stripe going across both sides of the car. "So this is my ride, it's been in need of a tune up so don't mess this up Twig." Breakdown threatened as she handed Kenneth some tools and had him lay down on the mechanic bed as he rolled himself under the car. Breakdown popped the hood and began to work on the engine while Kenneth worked on the underside. The two worked in silence as the only noisy was turning of wrenches and the occasional dropped tool.
Kenneth felt himself slowly slipping into his zone as he fell his mind go blank as he picks up the pace of his work. The hours ticked by as the Decepticon and human mechanics finished up the vehicle. "Alright not bad for your first time working with me. Although I wonder if you'll be able to keep up this pace?" Breakdown asked in an almost teasing tone as she gave Kenneth a cheeky grin. As the two conversed for a bit they were eventually interrupted by Knockout entering the garage. "Breakdown it's time for lunch. Oh! I didn't know you were here Kenneth!" Knockout said in surprise at the sight of the mechanic.
"Alright, sorry twig, but boss lady said you have to continue working while I'm gone." Breakdown said as she gave Kenneth an apologetic look. "That's fine Breakdown, I'm kinda in the zone anyway! Go eat with the rest of the Decepticons, I'll be fine." Kenneth said as he wiped the grease off his hands with one of the many rags that were in the garage. Breakdown nodded before turning and walking out of the garage. "Hey cutie would you mind fixing up my truck next? It's the ambulance like vehicle over there." Knockout said as she pointed to a red, black, and white truck that was decked out for combat.
The truck of course still had a large back area that was most likely the ambulance part of the vehicle. "Sure thing Knockout, I'll get on it right away." Kenneth said as he turned towards the vehicle and began to work on it. "Your the best cutie!" Knockout said in a sing song voice before running off to rejoin Breakdown. Kenneth let out a small chuckle as he set to work on the truck with the same passion he had before. The hours once again ticked by as Kenneth fixed and tuned the truck so that it was in top shape. After some final tuneups, Kenneth closed the hood of the truck before wiping some sweat off his forehead and looking around the garage.
Breakdown felt kinda bad for leaving Kenneth alone to work like that as she sat at a table with Knockout for lunch. "Something on your mind dear?" Breakdown was pulled from her thoughts by Knockout, who was giving her quite the cheeky grin. "Just feel bad about leaving Twig there to work by himself you know?" Breakdown sighed out as she looked down at her food. "Don't worry Breakdown, I'm sure Kenneth is just fine on his own! Now would you please try and relax? There is no point in getting yourself worked up." Knockout said to her friend as she gave her a gentle rub on the arm.
"I guess your right, but I can't help but worry about the little guy." Breakdown said in a still depressed voice as she continued to eat her food. "Oh so the little cutie's charm has captured you as well? I can't say that I blame you!" Knockout said in a sultry tone as Breakdown's face erupted into a blush. "H-He's just good at his job is all!" Breakdown stuttered out in embarrassment as she tried to calm herself down. Knockout laughed at her best friend's flustered reaction to her words. The two friends continued their lunch with little interruption.
Kenneth was putting the finishing touches on yet another one of the Decepticon vehicle as he closed up the hood. "Hey Twig I'm back!" Breakdown shouted as she entered the garage once again. Breakdown was surprised to see that Kenneth had finished up three other vehicles while she was gone. "Damn Twig! Did you even stop to breathe?" Breakdown asked him in disbelief at Kenneth's ability to work. Suddenly Starscream enters the garage looking for Kenneth. "Kenneth is time for you to head back to your room for the night." Starscream said as she walked up to the mechanic.
Kenneth looked at Starscream as they walked back to his room. "Starscream, what will I be doing tomorrow?" Kenneth asked as Starscream gave him a reassuring smile. "You'll be working on our jets tomorrow with Knockout! Don't worry you should do just fine like you did today." Starscream said before she opened the door to his room and led him inside. "Goodnight Kenneth." Starscream said as she left the room before the door locked. Kenneth once again are his dinner and tried to get some sleep, of course his insomnia prevented him from getting a good night's rest.
Alright this one is finally done! Sorry it took me so long to get this one out! Anyway what awaits Kenneth tomorrow? Who will he meet? Will the Decepticons start to trust him? Find out in the next chapter of Not So Evil!
