Chapter7

Jacks POV

I hate what I did to Alicia. When I saw her in that hospital bed and knowing I put her there broke my heart. Wait, why do I care? She cheated on me. I didn't speak at all in the cab ride home, I couldn't.
When we got back to Alicia's, her mum set me up somewhere to sleep for the night and I sat in there for most of the time, I couldn't stop thinking about Alicia. Do I like her? No Jack, No. "Jack?" I heard a knock. A head popped into the room, I was Alicia. "Can I come in?" She said. I nodded and she shyly walking in with her head down.
"Alicia, I'm so so-" I was cut off. "Jack stop apologising. It's okay, I don't care." She quickly said. "No it's not, Alicia. I put you in hospital, well let my friends put you in hospital." I shouted. "Shhhhh!" Alicia whispered, covering my mouth, "I told my mum that I was mugged so shut up" she added. Why would she do that? Why would she protect me?
We talked for a bit longer and then she left. Talking to Alicia makes me happy, i don't know why. I feel like I can tell her anything. Why do I bully her? I think I love her.

Alicia's POV.

I ran up the stairs and flopped onto my bed. "What a day!" I sighed. I reached onto the shelf, grabbed my diary and began to write.

~Diary Entry~

Dear Diary,
Today was... Painful. Yeah, I know. I should hate Jack for what he did but oh my god! I can't! He seems really sorry and the way he looks at me now. I don't know, it's just different. I love Jack. I know it sounds crazy but I think he's starting to like me! I don't know, maybe his idiot friends hit me too hard in the head but something's different.
Alicia x

I put in my headphones and began to listen to Shawn Mendes when I heard a knock on the door. I was Jack! My heart started racing. "Alicia, can I talk to you?" He said. His voice! I love his voice. "Y- Yeah sure!" I said nervously. He came and sat down so I took my headphones out of my ears. "Listen, Alicia. I'm so sorry for bullying you all this time. I had no reason to, even If you did cheat which I'm not saying you did, but you know. And I'm so sorry for everything. Alicia, I think I love you!" Jack looked at me with a serious look. My heart stopped and I froze. "Jack.. Err.." I stuttered. He smiled. "You don't have to say anything." He said softly. I smiled back at him. "I love you too." The words finally came out! I hugged him tightly. Oh my god! He loves me!
We sat in my room and talked for a while until I had to go to bed. "Goodnight Jack!" I said. He smiled and then all of a sudden, our lips crashed together. Jack kissed me! I pulled away and we hugged, "love you." Jack said, walking towards the door. "I love you too jack." I said, shyly. He left and I went to bed. Finally.
