Chapter10

Alicia's POV

*something big I feel it happening, out of my control*
I switched off my alarm. Monday already. I was dreading school for two reasons. 1) yeah,Jack was nice over the weekend but at school Infront of all his friends? I don't know. And 2) the texts off Johnson? Nahh, something's up. I strolled tiredly downstairs and into the kitchen. I poured myself a bowl of Apple jacks and scrolled through my twitter. "Morning sleepy head." Mum said yawning, "how're you?" She asked. I shrugged and kept scrolling. She gave me a 'why won't you talk to me look' (yeah I know what that looks like; she gives me it all the time!) and left the room. I sighed and put my bowl in the sink.
I showered and got dressed. I put on white jeans and a pastely pink crop top. I put my hair in a messy bun and then put on my white bandana and white vans. As fort make up, a little bit of concealer and mascara. I grabbed my bag and headed out the door.
~skipping the walk to school~
I hurried straight to my locker, and straight past "the jacks" as everyone called them. I opened my locker; grabbed everything I needed and slammed it shut. "Why slam it so hard?" A voice said. I jumped and my heart nearly stopped. It was Jack. "Oh my god! Don't scare my like that!" I yelled, putting my hand over my chest. "Sorry babe." Jack said, leaning against the wall trying to be cool. I rolled my eyes and poked him. So far, so good.

Jack J's POV

Jack G hurried over to Alicia the second he saw her at her locker. "What the hell is he doing?" Said Kian, pulling a face at jack who was now leaning against the wall, flirting with Alicia. She smiled which made me smile. Kian slapped me, "dude?" He yelled. "What, I don't know! Just leave it. Alright?" I stormed off. It pisses me off seeing Gilinsky with her. He bullied her too! I walked to Spanish, the one class I have with Alicia. I went and sat next to her and she went to get up. "No, no. Please don't go." I pleaded. "What, why?" She question, she got scared. I can tell in her eyes. "Please, I'm sorry. Let's just talk." I said, touching her arm. She pulled away and sat back down.

Alicia's POV

I was sitting in Spanish talking to Janice, then Jack J just came and sat next to me. I went to get up and move but he asked me to stay. When I asked why he just said, "please. I'm sorry, let's just talk." He looked at me the way jack looked at me that day in the hospital. I sat back down and he smiled. I mouthed "wtf" to Janice and she just laughted. "Okay. Settle down class." said our Spanish teacher, "work in pairs while on page 55." Jack looked at me and smiled, I smiled back nervously. Seriously, what's going on? "So.." Jack said. "Soo.." I replied. We stayed in an uncomfortable silence for a few seconds until Jack said, "look, I'm sorry for everything. Can we please just try to be friends?" I didn't say anything. "Come on." He asked. "Oh, alright. I don't see why we should argue." I said. Why does he want to be friends with me?
We talked for the whole lesson. He's actually pretty cool. When the bell went, we walked out together and went to English. "Alicia?" Jack asked. "Yeah?" I replied. "Thanks." He said. I smiled and turned around and went into English. Woah, Johnson is actually a nice person? Weirdest day ever!
I didn't see Gilinsky all day. Someone said he went home sick or something so I texted him.

Me: you okay? Someone said you got sick?😭😘
Jack💗: yeah, I'm okay though. Come over after school? 💗💗
Me: yeah suree❤️

I put away my phone as the lesson had just started and got out my diary from my bag. As there was no one next to me seen as Jack went home, I began to write.

Dear diary,
Today has been so weird!
Gilinsky was really nice to me which I loved loads. Finally I don't feel scared of him:) but Jack Johnson was really nice to me aswell. don't get me wrong, I'd prefer him being nice then beating the up but i don't know, it's just .. Like.. A bit sudden. I'm going to Jack G's after school and no doubt Johnson will be there so we'll see how that goes.
I'm nervous though.

I put away my diary and listened to the teacher. Only 3 more lesson until the end of school. I really don't know what's gonna happen at Jacks place. I'm so nervous.
