The air in the open space where Addison organized the brunch was filled with little chatter that felt good, her children were there, Withney too everything was going fine if it wasn't the constant noise on Carolyn plate which was making Withney uncomfortable, it was visible  by the way she was pushing her food around her plate.

Glancing at her then at Carolyn to whom she gave a warning stare that she responded with rolling her eyes.

"Withney aren't you eating? I would have thought you'll have love it, it cost a lot you know may at least make the money worth. It's not everyday we eat caviars and salmon at brunch."

Smiling at her Carolyn said eating her own food she really couldn't stomachs the woman, who sat there in her expensive clothes looking like the doll her mother made her to be. She seemed so innocent you could actually fall for that. Taking a sip of her red wine the oldest Martins arched an eyebrow to the lack of response which met her.

Glancing at her partner Addison took a breath looking at her daughter shaking her head disappointed of her when Withney phone went off ringing in a fainted way.

Not even thinking twice she picked it up after verifying who was calling with a little "sorry" she had it on her ear when she tried to stand up Addison told her it was alright, by inside she felt panicked Whitney never answered her phone before even if it was important.

Resuming eating while having a ear to her, Addison did her best to not let anyone know it bothered her.

"Hi, Barry? How are you doing?" Her sweet voice ran in Addison ear reminding her that she didn't get that for hours.

"It is more than okay Barby. I landed one hour ago and wondered if you will take a snack with me I know I can't afford"

"Stop rambling you know, I don't care."

"I just wanted to make sure you know. That is fine with me then. God I guess your 'super clones' will follow suit" referring to her bodyguards he laughed his own joke while she shook her head.

" Sorry, hmm the coffee near the docks, they do wonder with foods there."

" Fifteen minutes is okay I hope?"

Squinting her eyebrows Addison put her spoon down eyes on Withney who did everything but looked at her. Stopping the conversation she placed her spoon correctly with the napkin near then stood up under her partner gaze.

"Have a nice a nice brunch, I'm out."

Just like that she turned her back to them when Addison tried to take a hold of her hand back she brushed it off avoiding any contact with her it was cleared that she was pissed off.

Walking past the kitchen she left them there, all the family could hear cars pulling, doors clapping then nothing, the silence was just that. All the Martins had their eyes on their mother mouths opened. None of them saw that coming.

Rolling her tongue in her mouth to not said anything harsh forgetting it was her children in front of her, Addison nerves was on the verge of popping. Putting her face in her palm hiding her face to regain some force she  took a sharp breath in then released it slowly, she did it five time at least before looking up her eyes directly in Carolyn ones.

"Don't pulled something like that another time. I warned you more than three time Carolyn! Why won't you ever listen?"

"Mum you should thanks me, you don't Know what she may have planned. It is a good thing she's gone."

Dumfounded by her daughter stubbornness, Addison looked at everything on the table it was supposed to be a good time or she should have listened to Withney she did told her that she wasn't feeling this brunch. Much of the time her not feeling something always end not good.
