"What am I going to do with you dear? You managed in the space of three hours to befriend Mrs Trent. She is all smiles with you." Exhaling Addison spoke feeling exhausted like she didn't get any sleep at all.
"Ah, and Mr Delaney gave me his business card, said anytime he will give me a job in his industry. I managed to convince him to come tomorrow morning at 8am and bamm he gave it to me."
Feeling exited by her day, whitney ranted only to see the contorting face the older woman was doing her best to hide her.
"Before you get really mad I can tell you that Mrs Trent had a misunderstanding with her partner, I spoke them out of it, them they did together and everything is alright now. See nothing to worry about."
Controlling herself to not lash, Addison held her hand up as calm as she could.
"How about you give me that card, you already put the number in your phone?"
Shaking her head negatively, Whitney glanced at her as she was taking the card out of her back pocket having an idea as for why she would wanted it.Finally pulling it out she looked at her for a moment seeing something in her eyes she was a terrible jealous much, giggling at her she shook her head before destroying the card that she placed it in the palm of her hand.
"See much better I don't plan of working for him you know the man looked all Adonis like but you can see far away he is a pervert."
Proud of her a real smile on Addison lowered her window throwing the remainder of the card much to Whitney disapproval stare. She was a freak of cleanliness.
"Sorry, I couldn't stay with that near me. You guessed right, this man really is a perv. Out of his 'adonis' like look. He is Satan himself... Don't look at me like that you learned a lot of things when you are in the business as long as I already have been. I'm proud of you though, really."
Smiling at the praise Whitney rested her head back sighing she felt very exhausted emotionally and physically, the day was long and very full.
As she was grifting her phone emitted a small ding making her opened her tired eyes. The light reflecting on her face was barely the only strong one in the back seat, Addison like it that way after a long day it calm the nerves. It was a message from Alexis, when she felt Addison stiffened near her she scooted closer laying her head on her shoulder closing her eyes breathing in her perfume, the scent calming her nerves just like that the headache which grew in her head just by seeing the name started fading.
Alexis - Can you come home please!??
Knowing what it could be she froze in her arms, alarmed by what was happening Addison closed her muscular arm around her pecking her forehead lovingly all trace of jealousy fade. Whomever that Alexis was, it wasn't good news. Another message popped in off the same name making the young woman straightened her face hardening. Leaning Addison frowned at its contain.
Alexis - Whit!! Please come. Where can I find you!?
They looked at each others the same moment, feeling Addison never saw in her eyes stormed in as she panicked.
"I don't know what is going on now, but I beg you to calm down love, look at me, look. At. Me. There. What is going on. Who is Alexis?"
Breathing slowly Whitney closed her eyes leaning her head on her palm."He's my younger brother... I, I have to go at my parents house. You can leave..."
Shaking her head her eyes looking stern Addison put a finger on her lips.
"You are not getting rid of me. We are in this together. Now give Jason your family address. Now baby."
One ear attentive to what was said, the man entered the street address driving to the next crossroads he turned to the total opposite to where they where going, doing his possible to respect the normal speed worry to see how miss Whitney was reacting from the reviewer.
Her mind racing the young woman face was now turned to the side staring through the window as if she was somewhere else which seemed to not be a pleasant place, her back was now turned to Addison who did her best to not pushed the issue, she never saw her in that state she was always the cheerful and positive one giving good vibe to everyone around her.
Some could think she didn't have normal human being problem when in fact sadly it was like she had all the burning of the world on her shoulder, but only choose to not let them rule her life. She chosed, making Addison loved her more, yes she could accepted it in peace she did since day one, there it took her one day after so long to see through the thick wall, yes the woman she loved more than she ever did seemed broke by something she wasn't aware of and she couldn't make it go away.
Powerless was the way she felt while giving her some comfort with her hand doing circles on her rigid back it. Soon enough they arrived on a calm neighborhood only Disturbed by someone screaming on the top of their lungs vilipending someone else by all sort of names no one should use on another human being.
First suprised by that Addison face soon hardened understanding where it was coming from as the car rolled in front of the house which had the same address Whitney gave on the mailbox. Meeting Jason Well, her chief of security man eyes, she froze looking at a totally robot like Whitney.
The young woman was totally stiffen, her face stone cold frightening the older woman for a moment before she opened the door someone run out of the house stumbling near the bins throwing the contain on the grass not losing time he jumped above it then the flowers running like his life depended on it when a man get out insulting him.
"You piece of shit, come here again! Good for nothing! You'll clean all this mess you did when you'll be back. NOTHING, YOU'RE NOTHING! Do you hear me? You'll never be!!!!"
"Don't stop, don't stop!" Tapping on the back of the passenger seat she said to Jason urgently her eyes still on the man in front of the house still yelling as a woman appeared behind him trying to appease him to no avail it was even making it worse.
Looking towards the road he stopped a moment frowning as he walked towards the line of cars which started speeding.
"Jason, where is my brother?" As the car kept going, they were already at the end of the neighborhood when panick started kicking in as she didn't saw him anywhere she landed her eyes.
"Calm down we will find him"
"Where is he Addi? Where? I don't see him anymore. He cannot sleep out there. What if something happens to him? I should have been more careful." Looking at her then at Jason in the front she did her best to keep her cool to her love sake . The man only nod taking his radio to call the bodyguards in the two car in front.
"Cross did you see the road the young man took?"
In the first car Mr Cross didn't questioned it knowing it was important, looking at the guys in the back and the one near him he waited placing the radio for whoever to respond.
"Yes boss, I saw him run between the two houses that we just passed, he seemed to know where he was going." One of the guys Valkes said sparking hope in Whitney who knew where to go now.
"Take to the left, he certainly is on the main road now." They took that road many times doing what he was doing running away from the hole they called home but it was different now he wasn't about to sleep on the floor in some dirty place by himself like they used to.
Fighting the tears that threatened to roll out she placed her forehead on the window attentive at all movement on the sidewalk Addison and Jason doing the same, her to the other side him through the windshield, the others cars aware they were searching him on the busy season was a bit difficult.
The venue was a bit bigger than the other neighborhood, but there buildings replaced the story Houses they saw there. People walked on the sidewalk some playing for the late hours it would have been strange if the lighting wasn't almost making it seemed like plain day. Some parents watched theirs children playing while couples sat around in snacks chatting or just walking.
Swallowing at the sight, Whitney wondered why they never get to have that, peace. Rolling her eyes at the sight she focused on every people she could have her eyes on scanning them her eyes finally landing on someone limping lightly. Double checking his body features her breathing picked as she pointed his way.
"There! There! It's him."
